The reason Deb first joined LinkedIn was during the stock market crash of 2008, soon after she was asked to talk about social media at a networking event. She just started talking about what she had been doing on LinkedIn. This led to a passion for training. She has spent years crafting her skills and now trains others on how to be LinkedIn experts.

Deb shares her amazing story of becoming a race car driver with her husband. In the last race of the season, she got tagged. That accident jarred a tumor loose in her body and caused her to find her breast cancer early and beat it.

"Call it what you want, but always look at the brighter side of life, or don't ever look straight ahead and have blinders zone. Take your blinders off and look at the big picture and go, what positive can I take from this?" - Deb
