1. It is illegal to stiffen the press due to the 1st Amendment

2. People can distinguish between an individual and what's being reported.

3. We aren't making things up, just reporting what can be found.

4. There are more black journalists now that can counter the argument.

5. Even bad press is good press.

6. Without the press, George Floyd's case wouldn't have seen much traction. The outrage went nationwide.
