The lady described the creature having “flaming red hair all over it,” and possessed a pair of huge and powerful jaws. Again, it was only seen for a moment or two before quickly vanishing into the trees.

I waited in the kitchen for the kettle to boil and out of the corner of my eye, a face appeared in the bottom pane. At first I thought it was just my reflection and then I looked again closely. This time the face pressed itself hard against the window. It was a sort of chimp and human style face? it was youngish I would say. I pretended I didn't see it, but I was absolutely terrified. I left the room and sat down motionless I couldn't say a word so I decided at the time to draw it, and did so straight away. As an addition to this, the face resembled that of a chimp, with short snout, black/brown eyes but with human type hair everywhere..

When a young miner's son perished on the Brecon Beacons in the summer of 1900, it shocked an entire community. On 4 August 1900, the Saturday before a Bank Holiday, a miner from Maerdy, at the head of the Rhondda Fach, decided to take his five-year-old son with him to visit the child's grandparents who still farmed near Brecon. Father and son William and Tommy Jones arrived in the town by train at about six o'clock in the evening. From there they had to walk four miles to reach Cwm Llwch, the little farmhouse deep in the valley to the north of the Beacons owner by Williams parents.

My daughter and I decided to take our horses out riding, like we occasionally did in the Lakeland area by Blackwood. It was August 9, 1976. I remember the date because we knew Hurricane Belle was soon to hit the New Jersey coast, so we wanted to get some riding in before that. It was a windy day, but we followed the usual trails, going along dirt paths that were close to a junkyard.

We approached one section of woods when suddenly there was dead silence. We usually heard all sorts of wildlife in the area, but heard nothing now. Then a crow cawed loudly three times, and the horses started acting up—we couldn’t figure out what was going on. And then up in front of us, about one hundred feet or so, we saw this “thing”!


It was about six feet tall. Its back, which it was scratching against a tree, was facing us. At first to me it looked like a large dog on top of a horse. I asked my daughter, “What is that?” It started walking along the path we were riding on, and we slowly followed it up the hill, but the horses were reluctant to stay calm. They started to go wild. The thing turned around, and I could better see what it looked like. It had whitish hair, with black spots on its hips. It had horns coming out of its head and red, slanted eyes. Its nose had a pig-like snout. It stood on two feet that ended in cloven hooves; its hands were tipped with large claws. And it looked like it was slobbering all over.


It jumped into the path with its arms opened wide, lowering its head like it was going to charge us. At the time I felt as though I was in some kind of trance, like I was in a movie or something. Only when my daughter yelled, “Let’s turn around and get out of here!” is when I realised we might be in danger. We were certainly afraid of whatever it was.

The panic of having a loved one go missing must be unimaginable. You wonder where they are, whether they are safe and if you will ever see them again. Fortunately, most missing people are eventually found. Either they return of their own accord or they are located after a public appeal from the police. But, in a very few cases, they stay missing - prolonging the torture of their families who have no answers about what happened to them.

Michaela Pugh, missing since February 2016

Michaela Pugh was last seen by friends in Thames Ditton. The 37-year-old Slovakian had been living in Guildford for several years, though her family said her last known location was the Manor House Hotel at Newlands Corner, which she checked out of on the morning of February 13. On the same day, a car matching the description of Ms Pugh's black Lexus was found at Beachy Head in Sussex. Enquiries were made in the Eastbourne area, and police said a woman matching Ms Pugh's description was seen using a phone box at Birling Gap National Trust site over the weekend she disappeared, but there has been no further trace of her.

On March 1, her sister Denisa issued a message through Surrey Police, urging her to get in touch. She said: "Miška! Please, can you let someone know where you are. We are worried about you. I am in the UK. I came for you and I am waiting for you. I miss you very much. Your sister.” Michaela is described as white, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

As you can see from the image, the area this lady was last seen walking in is very close to a number of sighting reports. It could be complete coincidence and many would say no more, but I do think we should look at any Phenomena that may have been reported in this exact area, so along with the sighting reports I had received there were a number of cases from the Paranormal Realm and UFO community. There is the strange case of the Burning gas this summer. The foul mist caused 150 people had to be 'decontaminated' at Eastbourne District Hospital.

The Beachy Head Grey Woman and a Ghastly Black Monk

A popular spot for suicides, several spirits are reported to haunt this disturbing area. One is that of a female figure who calmly steps off the cliff edge; another woman, this time in grey, walks along the cliff path, while locals speak of a ghastly black monk who convinces people to jump.

The Three Shucks of Eastbourne

There is a tale told in the town of three shucks that are seen together in the wooded area close to beachy head. Seeing one shuck is often thought of as an ill omen - the three which seem to haunt this area are seen in a pack by most of the witnesses to them. A STRANGE set of lights seen floating over Eastbourne may not be able to be explained away as Chinese Lanterns. Eastbourne and the surrounding area is often inundated with reports of UFOs but the majority are put down to the floating lights commonly used at weddings and birthday celebrations.

However, local teenager Liberty Jacklin claims to have seen something unusual in the skies above her Normans Bay home and a local paranormal expert is at a loss on how to explain it. The 16-year-old, who saw the object last Wednesday evening, said, “At around 9.30 pm we let the dogs out in the garden, and I saw strange lights in the sky, and called my family to see. “They were two rings of circular lights, one within the other. We saw them from our back door in the clouds above the level crossing around 130 metres from our house. “They were rotating almost horizontally from side to side, travelling a regular distance of around 100 metres. “It went on for an hour and a half, stopping just after 11 pm.” Intrigued she visit www.eastbourneherald.co.uk and searched for other reported UFO sightings – stumbling across one from Nicholas Munro, also of Normans

Witness Account: I.W,  OK guys I'm going to tell you about my Bigfoot encounter, It has taken me along time to come forward with what happened to me that day, but I feel that I am ready to finally tell all. It happened years ago in the month of October back in 98, myself and my family lived in a rural area of Yorkshire in a village called Bramham. Its a countryside area, with lots of farms, a quarry and some rivers and streams, I liked to walk my dog around the lanes and tracks when I had finished work of an evening as it was a way for me to wind down and get some air. On that particular evening I'm out walking with my dog down a long farm track, a route we often take. It was early evening so it was about 8 pm and it had gotten dark. Myself and the dog are just walking along, I let the dog off the lead so he could have a run as we are about half a mile up this single farm track by then and there were no animals or people around, so I let him have a sniff around. As I walked the dog is just doing his own thing, It was quiet with no sign of anyone around. I was enjoying the walk, there are hedges on both sides of the track the whole way so its hard to see clearly into the fields, and there are some woods to one side of me.As we walked even further along the track the dog suddenly stops, he freezes and looks up the track in the direction we are walking. He must be aware of something up there as he starts growling and acting all strange, his heckles are up and he growls continuously. At that point I'm thinking it must be a fox, which is the way he's acted before if we came across one. So I'm looking at the track to try and see a fox, I  cant see anything anywhere, no Fox no cat or any other animal. I can see how worked up he is, as now he is going mad and starts barking loudly.  I had carried on walking so by this point he was a short way behind me, so I turn to the dog to try and calm him but he won't stop, if anything he's getting worse, Something has really spooked him so I turn to look up the track and I couldn't believe my eyes. Standing there looking at us was this thing. A massive creature was stood there looking back in our direction, it must have walked between 8 to 9 foot steps out onto the field track before I had seen it, and now I can see it clearly and it can see us. At this point im in complete shock at what I was seeing, I kept thinking "it cant be real"  I honestly dont think my brain couldn't process what I was seeing, because standing there in the field track was a huge creature of some kind, it was massively built and was about 5 foot wide across the shoulders and about 8 ft tall. I couldn't make out any facial features as the face was in shadow, but I could make out that it was covered in hair, it was standing about 30 meters from me so I could see it clearly but I could not make out any features even from that distance, it made no sound and I never smelt or heard anything.To my disbelief at that moment the dog runs straight towards it, the dogs barking as he runs in its direction, but the dog stopped about 15 meters away from this thing, he was clearly scared and just didn't know how to react, he had completely forgotten about me and thats a first for my dog, usually he would put my needs first and maybe that what he was doing as he was by now in between me and this creature, but I could tell I was the last thing on his mind at this point.  The dog barks a few more time's then he turns and runs straight past me and back up the farm track to safety the way we came in.

No doubt now you can imagine how stunned I was. The whole incident had lasted only seconds and I was just stood there paralysed and trying to process what I had just seen. I must of been in shock, because what I did next I did without conscious though, and I can't explain why I did it, but as I'm stood there looking at this creature I nod  my head quickly and I say "Alright" to it.  (I know thats crazy but thats what I did) then I just

This particular morning it was around 8.40 am so it was dark, your typical Northern Winter morning Feb/Mar 2018. He was driving along the road as normal, keeping an eye out for Deer or any animal that would dash out in front of the car. We live quite close to this area and we have both heard strange noises ourselves at night from something we can not identify to be honest. As my Husband was making his way down the road he was astonished to see what he would later describe to me when he got home later as a “Bigfoot” type ‘Creature’ He said he passed ‘It’ driving quite quickly, so he couldn’t give me any real in depth details about facial features or anything, When I pushed him for a description he just said ‘It was a large hairy Bigfoot type Creature on the edge of the forest and I saw ‘It’ as ‘It’ was picked out by the lights from the car. I didn’t really know what to say so we both just left it at that and I looked for somewhere I could report this too.

Less than a month later, My Husband has had another sighting on the way to Killhope this morning. He was driving the same route he drove last time, and as he got closer to Killhope, quite close to the same place as the last time he saw the ‘creature’ again, but this time the Bigfoot was further out from the trees and more towards the road, standing on the dirt track more in the open. Today was a bright sunny day even though we still had snow on the ground, perfect spring weather, so my husband said ‘It’ was stood out much closer than before and he got a better look at ‘It’, he was just startled to see ‘It; there again not really doing anything to hide itself, just standing out in the open like that. Any one passing would also see it surely?

This week I would like to answer one of the regular questions I am always asked, "Are there areas here in the UK that have more than one account"  The simple answer is yes, and there are many, usually I answer by giving the person all of the accounts we have on file from the immediate area, but I also ask them to look at the Rivers systems, Streams and Brooks and gully's which lead from one wooded area of cover to another. Does the area have natural caves or mine shafts? is it known for UFO phenomena or missing people? ghostly screams or running footsteps? Does the area have a special meaning in the old world, like a Standing Stone, Ancient Barrow or Hill Fort, Grass or Stone Henge, Cup and Rings or any megalithic site of special interest? Also worth looking into are Lay lines, areas of high or low ground energy, old foraging or migration routes that our ancestors took, even to the point of ancient springs and natural wells, all could be an indicator of what kind of areas the accounts are happening in. I have chosen one place at random due to the number of recent reports that have come in over a 9 mnth period from a very small town in the North East of England and the surrounding Fields, Woods and Farmland. But in future uploads I will bring you the other areas where the accounts cluster together. We might as well learn together as we go. I am just as much in need of answers as you are and I think by sharing the information we each have will lead us to an understanding of not only our unanswered questions but will also bring light to a great number of companion subjects. After all this activity could all be entwined like Ivy left to run. By looking at every facet no matter how strange is the only way forward. As understanding is the key I feel. We may find some of the answers work well with your personal theory, or you may pick up on something no one has yet to notice. So lets have a look at the small towns between Consett and Stanley in the North East of England.Hi Debbie, I hope you are well.I've only recently discovered your YouTube channel and it has really caught my attention.I'm from the Consett area so the encounters with the wildman/apeman near Stanley and Consett plus the Bigfoot type creature spotted in Hamsterley forest are of interest to me as they are right on my doorstep. I grew up very close to the Beamish woods and my parents also grew up in that area. There have always been legends and stories about creatures in those woods for as far back as I remember and the woods are also said to be haunted by The ghost of a grey lady. There have been many sightings of black Panthers and even a Werewolf on one occasion to my knowledge. Usually the story is spread  by dog walkers in the early hours of the morning who are reporting these strange creatures.
