One evening I had been working on a project for my art class and decided to go and make a coffee. I could hear the chairs moving around down stairs and I figured I’d have a chat with whomever was there while the kettle was boiling. I walked down the stairs calling out a ‘hi’ as I went to find no one there? I could have sworn someone would be there and I had not heard the back door go? Puzzled, I  made my coffee and went back to my room. A bit later on I could hear the same noises again and I went to investigate. Again there was no one there?

At first I thought it was somebody standing there having a cig and I was seeing the cigarette light up as he smoked. A little orange light, so I slowed right down and I realised there was nobody there. And I remember thinking who ever it was must have been really tall? At the point where I was thinking this through I got this feeling to look to my right, I did and I saw this pitch black figure in the shadows standing next to the style. I turned to it and just looking at it but it looked like a dog standing up.

As Claire walked her dogs she heard a huge crash and both dogs instantly reacted to it and when she looked to her left to see what was worrying the dogs she was confronted with a creature that is said to be impossible here on our Isle. A creature of great size, hair covered, thicky muscled, that seemed impervious to her presence, so much so that Claire had no fear attached to this event. Worried for her dogs, yes. But not for herself. She left the area with the knowledge what she had suspected all along was true, she was not out here alone on the land.

We watched as “It” came walking into a part clearing. This “Thing” was broad but ‘It’ wasn't much taller than us at the time, perhaps only 5/5 ft in height but its body was huge. "It" was hairy and thick with muscle. I remember "It" having a humped back almost, ‘It’ was sort of stooped somehow. ‘It’ was walking with purpose and then "It" just stopped dead in ‘Its’ tracks? At the time my friend and I looked at each other knowing what we were seeing was wordless. Even now I'm struggling to describe what "it" looked like and what it felt like to me standing there looking at "It" and wondering what "It" was going to do next.
