The international media has been pumping out three main lies in essence blaming Israel for Hamas' rocket attacks on innocent Israeli civilians:

Lie #1: Hamas is fighting the "occupation" and they have every right to use force against Israel

Lie #2: Israel started the conflict by evicting Arabs from homes in the Jerusalem Sheikh Jarrah/Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood

Lie #3: Israel started the conflict by forbidding Muslims from praying on the Temple Mount on Jerusalem Day and then used excessive force against the Muslims on the Temple Mount
