Mike Burns is an LA based comedian, writer & published author. Mike's new book, "Power Moves" is based on a character that he created for Twitter a few years ago (can be purchased at karlwelzein.com). We talk about how Mike conceived of @DadBoner, the Deadspin article that outed Mike as the author, and his brief marriage. We also find out which former Decently Funny guest told the world about @DadBoner, whether or not Mike has gotten laid just because of his popular Twitter account, and what his brand new illness is. Listen to him play a game of "Play it Forward" where he has to match answers with last week's Decently Funny guest, The Simpsons writer/producer Tim Long. We apologize, but it was 95 degrees in LA while we taped the podcast, so you may hear the low hum of the air conditioning in the background but it won't ruin your listening experience.

Tim Long is a very talented writer, producer & consultant for The Simpsons and has been racking up Emmy nominations & wins for many years. What do we talk to Tim about?? We talk to Tim about The Simpsons, duh!! We even talk about other Simpsons writers/producers (and Decently Funny favorite guests) Sam Simon, Mike Scully & Matt Selman. But we also touch on some moments from his personal life as well. How did Tim get started writing & land the head writer position for David Letterman? What did an inebriated Tim Long steal from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane's house? What 80's movie has Tim considered adapting into a Broadway musical? Does a great writer like Tim enjoy Twitter? How much would a Tim Long Emmy trophy go for on EBay? All this and so much more. For example, Tim is a great game show guest as well. Listen to him play a game of "Play it Forward" where he has to match answers with last week's Decently Funny guest, 2x Stanley Cup Champion, NHL star Dustin Penner. We apologize, but it was 95 degrees in LA while we taped the podcast, so you may hear the low hum of the air conditioning in the background but it won't ruin your listening experience.
