Original Airdate 12/13/22 – (Former host) David Fiorazo and Mary Danielsen review recent church history going back to the seminaries, liberal theology, and the roots of the church growth movement. This led to what was known as the Emergent Church, and its teachings crept in and slithered through American Christianity infecting countless victims. They pushed compromise, ambiguity, tolerance, globalism, mysticism, and in some cases, universalism, leaving a path of destruction. The unbiblical, secular influence on American Christians has been great. Why discuss this? Because many listeners have no idea what led to the launch of Stand Up for the Truth podcast. 

“Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints. For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. A Christian Perspective on the Social Justice Movement – The world has gone through a paradigm shift, and we now find ourselves living in a “social justice world.” Many would believe that is a good thing and finally the world can rid itself of racism, poverty, and injustice. Even many Christians have come to embrace this “new” way of thinking and dealing with society’s problems. But as Christian believers, do we really understand what lies behind the social justice movement? And do we truly comprehend what the “fruit” of this cultural “revolution” will be to both our society and the church? This book navigates the turbulent social justice issue—from a Christian perspective.

Does anyone really understand any of it – but the bible has plenty to say. We also look at the Bronx bombshell of a rally, the death of the Super Size Soda guy, twisters, and an aging Klaus Schwab who will seemingly go to his grave with delusions of grandeur about our ever-shrinking globe and everything in it. Less is more, when it comes to deception, spin, and bad guys, more or less.

Counselors are standing by, not because they care about the person’s salvation, but rather getting them what they want – to be free of the Christianity they have been exposed to or raised in. In a way, it’s not surprising but at the same time, the bible tells us there is only ONE way to heaven, and that’s through Jesus Christ and what His death and resurrection mean and require of us. Another topic of the day is a tyrannical agenda spreading around the globe and how the elitist deadlines to rule us all are looming ever larger. Why does 2025 figure prominently in their agenda?  While it’s all on God’s time, nevertheless we know they have been emboldened since 2020 – and who knows what events might trigger the next phase of control. How late is it? Very.

Beyond the daily misrepresentations of media and our fellow humans, there is delusion; beyond delusion is quite possibly loss of all things and an eternity in hell. With the recent eclipse mania, and an entire nation looking at the same thing at the same time, with the attending hype by professing Christians – well, there is a recipe for mass delusion. We look at the 5 core essentials of deception: question truth, misrepresent truth, contradict truth, focus on motives, and deconstruct language. The believer has to be wide awake to keep from being deceived in these times.
