By focusing on the Gospel and the Lord's Supper, believers are fortified against false teaching and reminded of their completeness in Him.

  • Acts | Chapter 21
The sermon analyzes Acts 21 to illustrate the dangers of living in disobedience to God while maintaining a facade of piety. It highlights how the Apostle Paul ignored multiple warnings from the Holy Spirit and believers, choosing his own path despite clear instructions against going to Jerusalem. The preacher argues that this decision led to confusion, suffering, and a life of unnecessary hardship rather than spiritual blessing. Emphasizing the importance of church fellowship and Scripture, the message warns against the self-deception of claiming faith while rejecting divine guidance. Ultimately, it calls listeners to align their lives fully with God's will to avoid the destructive fruit of ungodly choices.

  • Israel’s Growth in Egypt in Spite of Pharaoh's Demonic Opposition
This sermon introduces the book of Exodus, establishing it as a sequel to Genesis that details Israel's transition from slavery in Egypt to their identity as God's covenant people. The preacher highlights how Pharaoh's oppressive strategies and infanticide attempts were ultimately thwarted by God's sovereign blessing, which caused the Israelite population to multiply despite persecution. A significant portion of the message explores the moral complexity of the Hebrew midwives' deceit, suggesting that intentional deception may be justified when protecting innocent life against tyrannical evil. The narrative is presented as a typological foreshadowing of Christ, illustrating how God's redemptive plans succeed even amidst satanic opposition and worldly hostility. Ultimately, the text affirms that God's purposes for His people are unshakeable and that He remains sovereign over all historical events.

  • Lying to the Holy Spirit
The sermon examines the account of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5 to illustrate the seriousness of sin before a holy God. It contrasts the early church's radical generosity with the couple's deceptive attempt to manipulate spiritual perception for human approval. The preacher argues that God's love necessitates His hatred of sin, emphasizing that believers cannot deceive the Holy Spirit. By purifying the church through judgment, God establishes true unity and exalts the name of Jesus rather than fostering shallow peace. Ultimately, the message points to the cross as the only hope for sinners, inviting humility and reliance on Christ's righteousness instead of self-justification.

  • 2 Wrongs Don't Always Make A Right
This sermon challenges the traditional interpretation of Joshua 9 by exploring whether breaking a deceptive covenant can be justified. The preacher argues that while Joshua failed to seek God's counsel, his decision to uphold the oath was driven by a desire to protect God's name from blasphemy rather than selfish motives. By examining biblical examples such as Jephthah and David, the message emphasizes evaluating personal motives, the potential for dishonoring God, and seeking inner peace when facing complex moral dilemmas. The central theme suggests that in certain contexts, adhering to a commitment made under false pretenses may ultimately serve God's glory better than breaking it.

  • Interpreting Life
Interpreting Life The heart of this message is this: life is always preaching, and we need a preacher, like Solomon, who in Ecclesiastes helps us interpret life's message. But ultimately we need Jesus to interpret what life and the preachers, like Solomon, are saying. Because this world has been touched by sin, deception, suffering, and death, we cannot safely interpret life by our feelings, culture, circumstances, or the opinions of others. Jesus has graciously spoken beforehand so that when things happen, we can recognize what He has already said, believe Him, and walk in His light. LIFE IS PREACHING — JESUS MUST INTERPRET IT Jesus says in John 14:29, "I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe." His Word prepares us for what we will encounter. We may not always understand why something happens, but we can know how to walk through it because Christ has given us His truth, His Spirit, and His people. The world cannot teach us Christ. We do not interpret Jesus through the world; Jesus teaches us how to interpret the world. What the world calls good may not be good before God. What culture calls freedom may actually be bondage. Therefore, we must continually ask, "What has Jesus said?" THE KINGDOM HAS A DIFFERENT INHERITANCE In 1 Corinthians 6:9–11, Paul reminds believers that the unrighteous do not inherit the kingdom of God. But then comes the glorious word: "Such were some of you." We were sinners, but in Christ we have been washed, sanctified, and justified. And when Jesus washes somebody, He thoroughly washes them. His cleansing does not leave us half-clean. Grace not only forgives us; it repurposes us. We are sanctified—se

  • The Face of Evil
What is the true face of evil? When exploring what the Bible says about false teachers, we must realize that wolves in sheep's clothing often appear kind and highly appealing to the culture. In this message, Dr. Richard Caldwell explains the vital necessity of recognizing false teachers in the church by using biblical discernment rather than relying on our physical senses or emotional reactions. Because God judges perfectly and evaluates the hidden heart, believers must align their understanding with the biblical view of sin and evil. We are called to practice righteous judgment, cultivating a righteous hatred for false doctrine while maintaining a genuine, prayerful desire for the salvation of the lost.

  • The Danger of Joel's Mighty Army
The sermon warns believers to ground their understanding of prophecy firmly in Scripture rather than emotional experiences or extra-biblical sources like the Book of Enoch. It identifies modern UFO phenomena and interdimensional encounters as manifestations of seducing spirits and doctrines of devils that seek to lead people away from the faith. The speaker argues that these spiritual forces operate through generational curses and deceptive technologies designed to mimic divine power. By analyzing biblical typology, particularly the symbolism of hands and dimensions, the message clarifies that the fourth kingdom represents a spiritual army opposing God's truth. Ultimately, the transcript urges Christians to reject false gospels and rely solely on the inspired Word for doctrinal correctness.
