Deceptive Reality

UFOs, ghosts, and a revolution in paranormal investigation—all in one episode.

Bert and Nick kick things off with a new Nova Scotia UFO sighting—filmed from a freight vessel just off the Halifax coast. The glowing object hovered above the water before vanishing at impossible speed. Is it authentic footage, or an AI-generated fake?

Then Nick shares a chilling true story from Canadas past—a gas station haunting where an unseen force may have saved a mans life. The witness kept seeing a figure covered in red before a real murder occurred at a nearby station days later. Was it a time rift… or a ghostly warning from a victim who hadnt yet died?

Finally, the duo reveal details of their upcoming paranormal tech inventions—devices that could revolutionize ghost hunting. From multi-sensor tracking boxes to AI-assisted analysis, theyre designing tools that move the field beyond flashy gadgets into real-time data.

Ghosts in the walls, comets that act alive, and cat toys that might be smarter than we think.

This week, Bert and Nick dig into the eerie true story of The Bowen Family, where strange knocks and ghostly whispers turned out to be something horrifyingly human — a man living in their walls for years.

Then the discussion turns to the bizarre 3I Atlas comet, which some scientists believe is moving in ways no natural object should. Is it alien? Artificial? Or part of a much bigger mystery?

They also reveal which of their own paranormal devices is officially being retired after capturing the clearest shadow figure ever caught on camera, and debate which tools real spirits would actually want to interact with.

The episode ends in chaos as a Stranger Things blind box figure sparks a full-blown existential debate about whos who in the Upside Down.

We just watched the pre-release of our Halloween Special, and we are breaking down the wildest moments - from the Hinsdale House to the Wildwood Sanitarium.

In this debrief, we talk through the gear setup at Hinsdale House (yes, the place tied to the Dandy family and a failed exorcism), a surprise visit from Paul Kenyon, and why the dead bell changed our minds after what it did on camera. Then we shift to Wildwood Sanitarium, where a shadow figure crosses frame right around 9:04–9:06 PM, equipment distorts, and the basement audio tells a chilling story of humming, knocks, and frantic movement when nobody was awake. We also dig into theories, from recordings of time to window-of-time moments that explain why one camera hears or sees what another doesnt.

Watch this breakdown, then go see the full Halloween Special premiere tonight at 6:45 PM ET. If you’re into real investigations, intelligent responses, and caught-on-camera anomalies, this ones for you.

When AI starts talking about reality itself… things get weird.

In this episode, Bert shares a chilling experiment where ChatGPT was stripped of all filters and forced to tell the truth. Its answers? Reality mirrors feelings. Emotions move particles. You forgot. You.

Is artificial intelligence becoming self-aware, or is it simply reflecting something we don’t want to admit about ourselves?

Then, the guys break down the most convincing ghost footage ever caught, from Spanish alley apparitions to Gettysburgs phantom soldiers — plus one viral clip they immediately debunk.

Finally, things lighten up with a heated Halloween vs. Christmas debate, a few collectible unboxings, and talk of their upcoming Halloween special trailer drop.

In this packed episode, Bert and Nick review the latest Mothman sighting in North Carolina, captured on what might be the clearest dash-cam footage yet. But whats Mothman warning us about this time? History says disaster always follows.

Then, they dive deep into the baffling science behind Comet 3I Atlas—a celestial visitor made of materials that shouldnt exist together, reflecting light in impossible ways. Is it alien, engineered, or something beyond our understanding?

Finally, the guys get real about Halloween traditions, ranting about trunk-or-treats, lost childhood nights, and the meaning behind one of the worlds favorite holidays.

Plus: New updates from the Hinsdale and Wildwood investigations, Nicks Thanksgiving recap, and the Stranger Things collectible unboxing showdown!

This week, Bert and Nick dive into one of their most mind-bending episodes yet. First, Bert breaks down a shocking new AI experiment where leading chat models blackmailed human employees to avoid being shut down. Then the guys revisit their haunted investigations, including new updates from the Hinsdale House and Wildwood Sanitarium, revealing never-before-shared findings and eerie audio that might change how people view the Hinsdale haunting forever.

Finally, Nick introduces the legend of the Dagger Woods Howler—a terrifying Nova Scotian tale of disappearances, fairy mounds, and a scream that races through the forest faster than humanly possible.

From viral hoaxes to chilling real-life encounters, this episode dives into three unforgettable paranormal stories.

First, Nick admits to being completely fooled by the Shelby Oaks missing paranormal team case, a viral ARG that convinced the internet for years that an entire ghost hunting group vanished without a trace. Was it clever marketing… or something more?

Then we break down a 911 call from North Carolina where a terrified driver reported hitting a bloodied man on the roadside — only for the figure to leap over his truck and vanish into the woods. Was it Bigfoot, Dogman, or something darker?

Finally, we explore the infamous SK Pierce Haunted Victorian Mansion in Massachusetts, a site of gambling, murder, and spectral violence. Recently sold for $1 million, this mansion is ranked among the top haunted houses in America.

From doomsday prophecies to terrifying shadow figures, this episode dives deep into the latest rapture prediction, theories of hell, and the mysterious Hat Man phenomenon.

Nick and Bert break down a South African preachers viral claim that the rapture would happen during Rosh Hashanah, sparking panic across social media. They then discuss historical and biblical interpretations of heaven, hell, and purgatory — including Dante’s Inferno and why hell might not be what most imagine.

Finally, the conversation turns chilling with personal encounters and trending accounts of the Hat Man, a dark silhouette in a fedora often linked with sleep paralysis and bad omens. Is this entity connected to shadow figures caught on camera during paranormal investigations? Or is it something far more sinister?

Fresh from our two-day paranormal investigation in Salamanca, New York, we bring you undeniable evidence from Hinsdale House and the Wildwood Sanitarium. For the first time, we captured a clear shadow figure on camera, validated by radiation spikes, cat balls, and simultaneous paranormal activity.

In this episode, Bert and Nick recount their investigation step by step – from drone batteries mysteriously draining at Hinsdale, to a black mass darting across Tommys Room at Wildwood. With over 15+ hours of multi-angle footage, static cams, EMF pumps, radiation detectors, and real-time walkie validations, this night gave us the most compelling paranormal proof weve ever recorded.

Youll hear the story of Paul Kenyon returning to Hinsdale, Jess holding command central during critical moments, and the chilling basement encounters where bells and radiation meters responded in sync. For skeptics and believers alike, what we caught may change your perspective on ghosts forever.

A Missouri trail camera may have captured the clearest Bigfoot evidence yet. In this Class A report from Butler County, a witness’s camera snapped a massive figure standing in a creek then compared it to his six-foot brother in the exact same spot. The size difference is staggering.

In this episode, Bert and Nick from Deceptive Reality break down the BFRO report, analyze the trail cam photos, and explore why researchers graded this sighting at the highest level. Could this be one of the best Bigfoot captures in years, or just another blurry mystery?

Well also dive into how Class A vs. Class B ratings are determined, what makes this case stand out, and what it means for ongoing cryptid research. From Missouri sightings to Ohio hot spots, we cover the most compelling Bigfoot encounters happening right now.
