Earlier today, co-hosts Moose and Breezy shared on their morning radio show that they met a professor who talked a student student studying to become a physical therapist out of perusing a PHD.
The average debt for a doctorate degree in the U.S. is $247,000. As a physical therapist in New York State, that student may have a starting salary of $63,000. The numbers don't allow for them to successfully pay off that debt!
This brings up the question: "Is it even worth it?"
How are we supposed to accept this change in higher education while also setting ourselves up for success?
I joined Moose and Breezy on 98PXY this morning to discuss the various options we have for life after high school that don’t leave us with such an overwhelming amount of financial obligation.
