This game has a great tempo! That move just gained you so much tempo! I have tempo in this situation! All of these phrases can say a lot about a game, a game state, and a game's decision space. The challenge is that in each phrase, the word tempo is actually referring to something different. In this week's WWTA episode of Decision Space, we deep dive tempo in board games as well as a few things, like initiative and pacing, that it isn't. Our biggest milestone yet -- episode 50! In this episode, we do a little pre-planning of our own and discuss 10 we want to cover imminently in 2022. We also share our podcast aspirations for 2022. If that wasn't enough, we have two announcements. For one, we will be starting the first ever Decision Space book club and reading Games: Agency as Art by C. Thi Nguyen.
