We're back, in the book of Ruth! 

It's amazing to think that such a short book is loaded with so many nuggets. Naomi teaches us valuable lessons about overstaying seasons of life and how we can best deal with them. Ruth provides a profound statement/pledge in the middle of Naomi's embracing an identity that God never meant for her to stay in. 

If you have not listened to both episodes of Shared Destiny, it will provide more context to this study of Ruth and Naomi and may prove foundationally helpful.

We believe this study is a picture of what God wants to do, has scheduled, and is releasing in the earth for such a time as this.

We are studying Naomi and Ruth! Ruth and Naomi, particularly from the lens of Ruth. We are leaning into the perspective of Ruth and what we can learn from her, particularly in a culture and Christian culture that teaches more from the perspective of Naomi. So, this will be interesting.

Focusing on the women, could it be through the life of Ruth, God is sending fresh perspective? Fresh vision? A fresh lens for you and your family? Could it be that what has remained, is meant to revolutionize your life? Your family's life? Your businesses? Could it be that Ruth represents greater capacity than Naomi, in a positive way? What Naomi couldn’t carry (both literally and figuratively) and didn’t have the capacity for, Ruth did.

Can the God of Naomi and Ruth be Father to both? And if Father to both, can they not both be the apple of His eye? Can they not both be loved, cherished, and chosen?

Rest is essential for us as women, yet we don't rest as often as we need to. We continue to pour out and give of ourselves even when we have reached our max limit. This study examines the dynamic of Martha and Mary and the power of rest that Mary tapped into in the presence of God. Plugging into God's presence and sitting at His feet while we rest will 10x everything He's called us to and assigned us to with greater ease and power.

Too often we try to use tools that are broken or ineffective in our lives as we are in a season where those tools are null and void, yet we hang on to them and save them just in case. This causes clutter and an accumulation of stuff we no longer need. In this study and time of devotion, we see God inviting us to declutter and make room for the new thing(s) he is doing and has ready for our lives. This is good news!
