Psalm 138:8 “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”
1 Peter 5:10–11 “And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
Romans 5:20–21 “…Where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
2 Corinthians 12:9–10 “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me… For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Titus 2:11–14 “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age…”
Romans 6:14 “For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under the law but under grace.”
John 1:16–17 “For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
Hebrews 4:15–16 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
1 Peter 4:10 “God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”
Ephesians 3:7 “I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of His power.”
God’s calling is always accompanied by His power. In Ephesians 3:7, Paul describes his ministry as a gift of God’s grace, made effective through God’s power rather than his own abilities. God doesn’t simply call us into His purpose; He faithfully empowers us to fulfill it.
This week, our theme, The Grace to Pursue Purpose, has reminded us that God’s grace calls and equips us for every good work. As we look ahead, we’ll discover that the same grace continues its work by transforming our hearts and shaping the way we live.
May today’s declaration give you confidence that God’s calling is never based on your qualifications alone. May His grace empower you, His strength sustain you, and His purpose be fulfilled through your willing heart.
Join us weekday mornings at 6 AM PST as we pray, process and prepare to live from victory--not for victory!
