The year was 1989 & RnB scene was moving from the 80s Groove vibe to more street & club sound. Dance music was hugh in the late 80s & a big influence on the RnB scene. You must know the formula by now, the obvious Anthems, a few forgotton gems & maybe 1 or 2 your hearing for the first time. Welcome to another episode of my podcast. Its a Stormy Saturday morning in UK, Hertfordshire & ive got all these songs in my head dying to get out! Yes we going back to the 90s, i'm sure i've visited 1992 before? But it was a few years ago & none of my episodes are the same. Normally the way it works is i hear a song that gives me goosebumps & takes me back down memory lane. Then i start compiling the track listing in my head until i have enough quality songs to complete the podcast. I normally have about 20 songs at the start of the process, only the best make it to the final edit. Then its matter of finding the time to do the research on the selected songs (year, artist, producer, artwork etc), edit the songs (length, volume levels etc) & then finally arrange them in the correct order & upload for your pleasure. Some of these podcasts have been in my head for literally years! Ok enough of my ramblings, press play , lets do this! I hope you enjoy my selection & it brightens up your day.
