Furious, the king throws them into a blazing furnace heated seven times hotter. Miracoulously, a fourth figure-described as a divine presence-appears with them in the fire; they emerged unharmed, not even smelling of smoke. Nebuchadnezzer praises their god, and punishes those who accused them. The episode highlights faithfulness under persecuton, divine rescue, and the courage to resist idolatory.
