For Christians and Non-Christians alike, Christianity has been taught to us as one thing that, Jesus was born of a virgin, lived, was crucified, died and was resurrected. His followers continued spreading his ministry's message, eventually becoming the most influential religion in history.
However, what you may not know is that Christianity was never one idea; early Christianity is indistinguishable from what we see today.
For centuries each sect of Christianity called other sects heretical, these were not small disagreements; these were wild and incompatible belief systems.
Early Christianity continued through history until one version of Christianity was accepted by Constantine, the roman emperor, making that version of Christianity vastly more influential, leading to the death of other major Christian ideas. Today, we will be doing a deep dive into these lost Christianities
My guest today is Neal who is a content creator making academic videos on History, Mythology, Psychedelics and Early Christianity. He goes by Gnostic Informant on Youtube and as a new fan of his work, I am very excited to have him here today.

Imagine for a second that you spent your entire life within a cult, entire sections of your school textbooks were erased, and no sex education at all, imagine not knowing where babies come from weeks before your marriage, imagine your mother cutting ties with you for a sin as small as wearing pants.
Today my guest is Fay, who grew up in these same circumstances and has graciously accepted an invitation to share her story with us today.
