Truth is not only something to define, study, or defend. Truth demands a response.
In this morning's devotion, Pastor Kent returns to Jesus’ words in John 18:37: “Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” Pilate stood near Truth, questioned Truth, and physically heard the voice of Jesus, yet he did not surrender. That sobering moment reminds us that it is possible to be close to truth and still remain unchanged.
This episode calls us to examine whether we are truly hearing the voice of Christ. Not merely hearing with our ears, but receiving His word, coming into His light, and walking in obedience. If Christ is the Truth, then truth must shape our speech, choices, repentance, relationships, worship, priorities, and daily walk.
We are invited to move beyond information into transformation. Hear His voice. Come to the light. Walk in truth.
