Deep Reactions with Catalyst

Tunes that I bought right before the set, and so were mostly new to me. Thus, I had to "wing it"😉

But, many from names we know and trust - like Jimpster, Kerri Chandler, Sebb Junior, Ross Couch, and more. Plus names that might be new to all of us - Betty Bizarre, Mr Bootsauce, Tommy Boccuto, and others.

But the vibe is right down the middle of my alley, so if you've liked what you've heard from me before, you'll like this, too.

Recorded at the end of the week where rioters (first) stormed the US Capitol in a minor insurrection. So, this set is full of elegant, classic deep house tunes designed to calm us all the heck down, and spread a little love and peace. And if the tune had a Wurlitzer keyboard, it got high-preference in getting played ;-)

Music from Roalnd Nights, dZihan & Kamien, Sebb Junior, Soul Designer, Jamie Lewis, Alex Agore, and more. Recording of live set broadcast at dogglounge.com on 2021-01-15.

Happy New Year, everyone! Thanks for all your support in 2020, and I hope I continue to earn and have your support again in 2021.

This set was a "best of 2020" set. THREE HOURS of music. The first hour has new (to me) tracks selected from Traxsource's "Top 200 of 2020". The next two hours are replays of tracks I've played during 2020 that were RELEASED in 2020.

There's a MASSIVE list amazing producers here - Atjazz, Opolopo, Shur-I-Kan, Ross Couch, Crackazat, Mark Knight, Hot Since 82, St. Germain, Erik Kupper, Purple Disco Machine, Dr. Packer, and sooo many, many, many more.

Enjoy this, and happy 2021 to you! May it not be better than 2020 ;-)

Recorded live at dogglounge.com on 2020-Dec-18. This set celebrates the hope we have that the past - a world not stopped by Covid-19 - will return again later in 2021, so we can all dance to great house music. So, this set is full of tracks from the past - nothing new.

I hope you enjoy these tracks by great producers like Atjazz, Iron Curtis, Seven Davis Jr., Jimpster, Intr0beatz, Rishi K, Riva Star, Shur-I-Kan, Jimpster, Ross Couch and many more. The first 90 minutes are laid-back, and the energy goes up for the last 30.

This is the set I'd play if I were spinning at Blue Marlin beach club in Ibiza around 16:00. It's after lunch, everybody has plenty of Rosé wine in their blood, and these tunes would make you get up out of your beach chair and dance just a weeee bit with a glass of wine or cocktail in-hand. (Can you tell I'm missing summer in Ibiza???)

I hope these tracks from Sandy Rivera, Fred Everything, Giom, Shur-I-Kan, Tiger Stripes, Kerri Chandler, Kevin Fisher, Andy Caldwell and more will bring an Ibiza summer to you whenever, and wherever you are.

I like this set a lot. When pulling tracks into a crate, I didn't feel anything special; but the mix led the way, and the result ... well, I like it.

29 tracks from producers like Osunlade, Rishi K, Joshua Heath, Giom, Fred Everything, Jimpster, Kevin Yost, Demarkus Lewis, DJ Roland Clark, some vintage 20-year-old Miguel Migs vinyl, and a whole pile of other producer names you probably don't know. Recorded live on 2020-Dec-04 at Dogglounge.com

Enjoy, and see you next week.

Recorded live at Dogglounge.com on 2020 Nov 27. Happy Thanksgiving to you in the USA!

Tracks from Colette, David Harness, Kevin Yost, Rishi K, Lisa Shaw, Trentmøller, and many more.
