Ha, it’s not what you think. Well, that is if you thought that this was going to be about the upcoming elections. Nope, this is about the ELECTIONs as per what the bible states about the word.

This word “election” has been the topic of many good discussions, and worse decisions of course, as we have many denominational and non-denominational churches, which simply tells you, that we are not afraid to divorce ourselves to be right! Yes, the word election or belief of what it means has resulted in church divorces.

And but the question is why, if the bible states God hates divorce.

Mal 2:16 - “For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the Lord of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.”

Hey Podcast Preacher, this pertains to people not His church or bride. Really? I know that you have been taught that the reason we have so many churches is that God wanted us to have options. Ha. This is a lie and simply an effort for them to justify division. The book of Acts does not discuss church denominational options but only locations. Ok so what is behind this great divide Ken? 

Well, it all started back when the Catholic church got sideways and became possessed of the anti-christ spirit. Now I am not picking on those who go to that church today, because many do so, totally unaware of its history and but although, they should still know by its current behaviors, and if they, like the rest of us, do not obey God and get to know Him intimately, then they will encounter a goat judgement from Jesus whereby they will not make it into heaven, and that will be baaaadddd. Ha

No this is not about reading a cookbook but about, as you read your bible, you will be cookin’ for God. It’s kinda like the turkey cooking itself. Well, but the source of the fire is the Holy Spirit and so but to be on fire you will have to contain the source, therefore you will need to be filled with the Holy Spirit: 

Matt 3:11 - I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

          Ps 104:4 - Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.

And but the inverse is also true:

2 Chron 15:2 - And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.

You see we cannot obey Him and we cannot know Him if we do not read about him (2 Thes 1:7-8), no I don’t just mean to read the bible but to actually desire and get to know how He thinks, loves, serves, behaves, under the most tensest of situations. Read to seek him and you will find Him and then you can discover what it is to find God (Jer 29:13 / Is 55:6), Do so to eventually, when you are prepared as a spiritually mature disciple to do the things that he did while He was on this planet (John 14:12). We cannot be in Christ reproducing nothing in our lives as it relates to Christianity (Rom 6:11, 23). Being and existing in Christ will mean that we reproduce the things that Jesus reproduced when he was here (Acts 17:28). And so but I want to show you a biblical clock that will eventually stop ticking for the gentiles, oh it will stop after the gentile bride is taken up, as Israel needs to be saved next and we have some 144,000 jews to add and more of course, and but when this work is finished it stops for all of humanity for eternity. No doubt the watch industry will crash. Listen and see if you can hear it:

          Is 55:6 - Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

It is one word, “while”, yes that word tells us we only have a bit of time to decide if we will accept the gospel and saving salvationary life of Jesus, a deal that only He can offer. Eventually, like He is lost to the Jews today for a minute, He will be lost to the gentiles then. Sooner rather than later He will not be able to be found, sooner rather than later He will not be near. I just wanted to nudge you off of that sin ladened couch and get you to be a little uncomfortable regarding your position to and in Him. Salvation for the gentiles has an expiration date. It is best if you accept it now.

OK so let’s go into the scripture that eventually leads us into the, “more than a conqueror” claim, and yes line-by-line because it will be important for us to understand why you may not be operating at the best version level of yourself. Yes, this is the true and real point of this message, but God has me setting the reasons in order so that you can bust your groove out. I have included an example or rather sample of this in play, in this message, for encouragement and evidence that it works, and to let you know that I know, in Him, what I am talking about. I have a lifetime of fruit to this effect. I also have stats that prove, He did what He equipped me to do, in those seasons through me. I would say that we have honored people with the Nobel Peace prize who have not been as effective in their mission as I have been, in Him. I know, I know it’s not fair to compare, but I just want you to know without question that I am onto something, and if you really listen and learn from me, in Him, you will inevitably be more than a conqueror and grow to become and to daily operate as the best version of yourself with a kingdom mindset. Yes, you can listen to all of those who claim that they can help you and will do so for a fee. No, they won’t chat too much about the fee, but I ask you to ask them where is there fruit? What are the stats saying about their hollow promises. Without God they are indeed hollow. You cannot change without His help. Sin is the great success blocker and anyone who thinks that they have done it hasn’t looked down at their feet to see that they are simply on a treadmill and all of that running, all of that effort, and achievements, have gotten them no further than the length of the treadmill. 

Now I will tell you briefly some truths that I have experienced, not to discourage you but so that you know what I am talking about is not easy, as the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak (Matt 26:41). Fear is the leading factor in most peoples lives, and boy how we can excuse it away. How many people should have started businesses but didn’t because of excuses. Excuses are rooted in fear. How many should have become singers, politicians, state employees, inventors, artists. Ha, I talked to an artist who was selling clothes, and I asked her why she was selling cloths if her hearts desire was to be an artist. She stated because her parents told her that there was no money in it and that she should become a dental assistant. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Another human destined to totally miss the whole reason that they were put on this spinning rock. And all because of the fear that they would become just another starving artist. And but if you are called to it you will not starve because God did not call you to starvation.

This message is based on my reading of many books including but not limited to, and my most recent read, The Dragon’s Prophesy written by Jonathan Cahn. I have also read others that also touch on the end times which scripturally includes and will include within the books of the bible Daniel, Ezekiel, Matthew, and the book of Revelation. Some of those must read books along with their authors are as follows. And well if you are asking yourself why I just don’t tell you what the books are about it is because I want to avoid skewing the data so to speak. It’s the end of days and near to when Jesus will be coming back for His Gentile church before ruling and reigning on earth for a 1000-years. The final one thousand of the 7000-thousand years that the earth plan will be in existence. I get this from some of these books that I have read as well as knowing and believing that the number 7 represents completion. And but besides all of this, what else is more important than knowing we are so very near to the end? I mean in the event you may have been one of those who have just sat on the sidelines in your church not really making much if any contribution to the work of the church or to Jesus, now would be a good time to build that supernatural resume. 

The book list is long and you can blame that on God because it was He that gave me the appetite to read. For over 20-yrs I did not know I was called to be a teacher as described in these three scriptures, the first two are the assignment, but the last one is a warning of caution:

Eph 4:11 - 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 

These are known as the offices that Jesus places His people into so that the church can function as she ought, not as she is for the most part but as she ought. You can read the book of Acts to see what the church should look like and who is really building it. 

1 Cor 12:28 - And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.

Ok so we are now going to cover tongues:

2 Cor 12:10 - to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

So, because of the current condition of the church which is that we are in the Laodicean church age, and many are without the Holy Spirit, and many are not making disciples or equipping the saints for the work of ministry which leave many Christians without ammo. Oh they may have weapons, and know the word in part, but without those elements being in place, that is being equipped for the work of ministry, being a disciple, and being taught how to use and function in a spiritual office, if called to do so, and how to use the Holy Spirit given spiritual gifts, what chance do they have? If the devil has talked you out of seeking tongues or of using tongues then he has stolen some of your ammo (John 10:10).   

Do you believe in using any or all of the gifts (spiritual tools) that God has given you as you go and preach the gospel? If so then you should bibbly babbly away. We cannot get around these scriptures which is perhaps why some are up in arms about this interesting manifestation. 

Where we do this is irrelevant if indeed you are unable or unwilling to learn how to do this right? When I got saved I did not know how to speak in tongues at all, and yes I was definitely intrigued when I heard others doing it. And yes, I looked up every scripture on tongues to see if we were OK. And well we were, and I was set on learning how to speak in tongues, and did eventually do so, and in so doing my prayer life was extended in time and in effectiveness. My longest prayering day was about 8-hrs. 99.9% of my prayer was in tongues, and boy did I have some kind of experience while doing so. So I will provide some testimonies of speaking in tongues so that you are aware of your need for it and the fact that even outside of your normal prayers that this is like adding super-powers to your prayer life. I was going to say Nitrous but not everyone loves and appreciates cars as I do. Ha…

Do you react without knowing how God would react or do you respond according to your built up and ready at any given moment relationship with God? 

This message is about the difference between those two words and what happens when we do one or the other. Let’s dictionary.com them in order to lay a good foundation:

D-Com 

REACT – 

1. to act in response to an agent or influence:

How did the audience react to the speech?

1. to act reciprocally upon each other, as two things.
2. to act in a reverse direction or manner, especially so as to return to a prior condition.
3. to act in opposition, as against some force.
4. to respond to a stimulus in a particular manner:

reacting to a shock by jumping; to react to the word “coward” with anger.

RESPOND - 

1. to reply or answer in words:

to respond briefly to a question.

Synonyms: rejoin

1. to make a return by some action as if in answer:

to respond generously to a charity drive.

Synonyms: reply, react, rise

1. to react favorably.
2. Physiology. to exhibit some action or effect as if in answer; react:

Nerves respond to a stimulus.

1. to correspond (usually followed by to ).
2. Bridge. to make a response.

Ok so we see that in either case we can react or respond in the same manner potentially getting the same result. But we aren’t talking as if this were even slightly possible. 

You see I can react in anger, or I can respond in anger. See it? So what or how can we distinguish the difference, because what I am talking about is the difference between these statements? I mean there has to be a way, and by golly there is, at least for this message, to distinguish and to use that method once discovered, and allowed to lead us in very tense situations.

I am not sure if I'm trying to dispel the myth that if you just wait until your last dying day before surrendering to God that it will all work out. And but the obvious thing in that very statement is that most of us will not know when our last living day will be. Ok Je….beeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Or maybe I tired of hearing from so many believing and hopeful Christians that God loves all people, or that we are all Gods kids. Now I will be dealing with the God loves all people, not to embarrass anyone, or to shame them in ignorance. I do it because these kinds of errors can lead a person astray and you know that all you have to do is have your wheels turned just a 16th of an inch off center to eventually end up in the ditch. Oh, I know you won’t think anything is off until you have to call the tow truck. But let’s just agree that no one person has all this bible figured out and so it is good to be a great listener. Listen if you can turn pages, you have nothing to fear by listening to someone else regarding the bible, because as I try and bring up from time to time, you should check everything that people say is the truth with the Word. If someone says God is green, ask where it states that. Go home and start Flippin pages. If they say He stated that about Himself in a vision or in a dream, look for His green offspring, and yes they should be on earth not on Mars. Ha I know I just got silly there, but all I am saying is that you will be responsible for your bible and God knowledge, and it is useful to have others to help, but you should know the bible well enough to check on what is being shared with you. 

Now regarding statements and/or beliefs like, “we are all Gods kids and therefore He loves us all”, let’s see what the bible states just so that we are clear on the issue:     

John 1:12 - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

I think that, that scripture is pretty clear and dispels the myth, but however, we should be able to support such a claim with more scriptures as it is a big deal to consider that not all people are Gods kids:

1 John 3:12 - 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.

My thought when I read this scripture is that it maybe should have stated, “he who spares his rod hates his son and sets himself up for correction from God Himself.” Yes, this way of saying this is not new, it is just a combination of scriptures that are included in this message. The original title to this message was, “disciplining kids”, which I thought everyone would want to know why and how this activity should take place. I really didn’t expect any kids to listen to it, well because you know, the title. Ha, but so as I was wrapping up my most recent message titled, “long suffering with yourself”, I came across this message and thought I should revise it to also include adults. Yes, we too get disciplined by God, we get corrected by God, and oh no yes, we get chastened by God, and so I thought it appropriate to add that discussion into this message. I have modified the kid part of the message as the original message was only about 10-min long. 

It is my hope with these kinds of messages that we are not caught off guard when trouble comes. It is my belief that we should know the difference between “discipline”, “correction”, “chastening”, “persecution”, “troubles”, “testing”, “trials”, “sorrows”, “reproached”, & “the activity of “curses.” And well yes, if you thought that, this would be a great topic to do a message on, you are right and it will be coming to a social media platform near you.

Even if you lived to a good ripe old age, this message rings completely true. No one has ever, can ever, or will ever, prove this one truth statement false, and that is that, somehow you will be able to take anything with you when you die. Ha, listen, you do not even get to take your body with you, how is it that we could, in any way, take what we have purchased, been gifted, or stollen with us when we need our bodies to carry that stuff? All of it stays behind. 

1 Tim 6:7 - 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Let’s D-Com for a minute:

Temporary – 

lasting, existing, serving, or effective for a time only; not permanent:

a temporary need;

a temporary job.

Synonyms: passing, impermanent

Interesting that it mentions time given we will leave everything we collect in time to time. All of our anything that was given, used, birthed, gifted, labored for, will stay in the time dimension. Which by the way, when we leave time we pass from its limits to eternity whereby the limits of time no longer have an effect on us. Ah, but think upon this for a minute. What you did spiritually speaking, while living on this spinning rock, by way of listening to God, obeying God, getting to know Him in all processes, will matter in eternity though it was done in time.

2 Tim 2:20-21 - 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

You're not a born-again spiritual grown up so give yourself some time.

Far too often we encounter the Born-again experience and then want to get out on the street and start preaching something we don't even know yet. I know we can't help ourselves I was one of those, and unless God gave you a download of the whole Bible with all the Revelation you need to turn the world upside down then you ought to wait until you have some understanding of what just happened to you. Otherwise, you'll spend the first part of your Christianity turning people away and the second part apologizing to them for doing so. And we don’t have enough time to make up time.

 A child is not born a doctor, they might have all the ingredients to be one, but there's a process that they have to go through in order to be a good one and that is that, they've got to learn something, and but not only learn it, they've got to apply it along the way, so they learn they apply, they learn they apply, you see that, that is how it goes.

 A child is not born a teacher, they might have all the ingredients, but they're going to have to go to school and learn the subjects that they want to teach on so they at least know more than the students that they are teaching. These days kids have access to knowledge same as a person going to college so you've got to know your stuff as a teacher in order to be able to educate them and take them to a higher level. And yes you will still have to deal with the kids that think that they know it all, same as was the case back when I attended school, except that it is worse today because while you are teaching, they can look up whatever you stated and will without hesitation call you out on it if you are even remotely off or misunderstood.
