In the first quarter of 2024, pharmacies will be hit by existing DIRs from 2023 PLUS the transparent new DIR fees that occur at the point of sale. This means pharmacies will be paying significantly higher DIR fees than normal for the first part of 2024 until all of the retroactive fees have been paid.
