Troy Crosby was named the Acting Assistant Deputy Minister of the Materiel Group in September 2019. In November 2019, he was appointed to the position of Assistant Deputy Minister of the Materiel Group, after a 23-year military career and close to 10 years as a public servant.
He is a graduate of the Collège militaire royal de St-Jean (BSc), the University of Tennessee (MSc), the Empire Test Pilots’ School and the Canadian Forces Command and Staff College. https://www.canada.ca/en/department-national-defence/corporate/organizational-structure/assistant-deputy-minister-materiel/biography.html
Alan Williams is the President of the Williams Group. Prior to joining the Canadian Public Service, Alan worked as a consultant and as an auditor in the private sector. He began his government career in 1972 working for Supply and Services Canada.
In April 2005, Alan retired from the Public Service and does consulting in the area of policy, programs and procurement. He has written articles on leadership and has authored two books: Reinventing Canadian Defence Procurement: A View From the Inside published in 2006 and “Canada, Democracy and the F-35” published in 2012.
