  • Encouraged in the Lord
This sermon examines the account of David and his men returning to find their home city destroyed and their families taken captive, a moment described as reaching absolute rock bottom. The central message focuses on the pivotal phrase in 1 Samuel 30:6, where David encouraged himself in the Lord his God, establishing this as the primary response to crisis rather than a last resort. The preacher emphasizes the importance of specific, immediate prayer and trusting in God's ability and willingness to provide deliverance, illustrated by David's successful pursuit of the Amalekites. The tone is pastoral and encouraging, urging believers to recognize that God is still active today and that His strength is made perfect in human weakness. The sermon concludes with a call to action, inviting the congregation to rely on this divine example for their own struggles and to share the gospel with others.

  • 🌿 The Seven Jewish Feasts: God’s Prophetic Calendar of Redemption 🔥
🌿 THE SEVEN JEWISH FEASTS: GOD'S APPOINTED TIMES AND THE STORY OF REDEMPTION What do the seven Jewish feasts have to do with Jesus Christ and the Christian life? In Leviticus 23, God established seven appointed feasts for Israel. These were not simply Jewish holidays—they were "the feasts of the LORD." When studied alongside the rest of Scripture, these appointed times provide a remarkable biblical picture of redemption, holiness, resurrection, the Gospel harvest, Christ's return, atonement, and God's eternal dwelling with His people. We begin with Genesis 1:14, where God established the heavenly lights "for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years." The Hebrew concept of appointed times provides an important foundation for understanding the biblical calendar and the feasts described in Leviticus 23. In this Bible study, we examine each feast in two ways: 🔹 Passover — Israel's physical deliverance through the blood of the lamb, pointing to Christ our Passover and His sacrifice for our sins. 🔹 Unleavened Bread — Israel's separation from Egypt and removal of leaven, reminding Christians of our call to holiness and separation from sin. 🔹 Firstfruits — the first portion of Israel's harvest, pointing to Christ's resurrection as the firstfruits of them that slept. 🔹 Pentecost — the harvest celebration, providing a powerful connection to Acts 2, the coming of the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel harvest. 🔹 Trumpets — the appointed memorial of blowing trumpets, providing rich biblical imagery concerning proclamation, preparation, resurrection, and the return of Christ. 🔹 Day of Atonement — Israel's sol

  • The Convergence
Could Jesus of Nazareth be the promised Messiah, or could someone else, in some other century, fit the description just as well? In this fourth session we let the prophets answer, and their answer is a deadline (He had to come before the temple fell in AD 70), an address (one nation, one tribe, one family, one small town), and a pattern (Israel's own Scriptures kept showing the chosen deliverer rejected before he was received). Then we step back and watch every line, drawn across a thousand years by many hands, meet in one Man. And we end where the evidence insists on ending: not with an argument to admire, but with a Christ to be received.

  • Judges Ep. 3. Enemies Far and Near | Verse by Verse Bible Study
In Judges 3, we are introduced to the first three judges of Israel: Othniel, Ehud, and Shamgar. This study follows the cycle of Israel's departure from the Lord, the oppression that followed, their cry for deliverance, and the Lord's gracious intervention. As we work verse by verse through the chapter, we consider the different enemies God used to chasten His people—from a distant invader from Mesopotamia to the nearby Moabites and the Philistine raiders—and how the Lord raised up deliverers at the appointed time.

  • Victory at the Cross
The sermon explores the theological foundation of spiritual warfare by examining Psalm 91 as a declaration of God's protective shelter for believers. It emphasizes that true victory is not derived from human strength but from abiding in the person and work of Jesus Christ, specifically through the cross. The teaching identifies the three primary enemies— the world system, the flesh, and the supernatural realm of darkness— and asserts that God's names reveal His attributes of omnipotence, refuge, and faithfulness. By dwelling in this divine shelter, believers are empowered to resist fear, overcome demonic oppression, and minister effectively to the spiritually oppressed. The message concludes with the assurance that God's ultimate purpose is to satisfy His people with the fullness of His salvation.

  • The Strong Man Bound
This sermon addresses the spiritual battles facing Christian families, emphasizing that the enemy often targets the father to disrupt the household. It illustrates how unresolved personal bondage, occult involvement, or unconfessed sin can create legal rights for demonic attack, affecting spouses and children with issues ranging from behavioral disturbances to severe mental health crises. The speaker urges fathers to take responsibility for their spiritual authority, to cleanse their homes and properties, and to pursue personal freedom through confession and prayer. By highlighting the theological truth that the enemy is already defeated, the message encourages believers to appropriate their victory in Christ, internalize biblical truth, and stand firm as protectors of their families against deceptive and destructive influences.
