  • Ebenezer - Hithero hath the Lord Helped Us
This sermon explores the spiritual condition of Israel as depicted in 1 Samuel 7, focusing on the danger of a divided heart and true repentance. Here too is encouragement to all believers to remember God's past mercies and deliverances by raising their own 'Ebenezers,' or stones of remembrance, to cultivate gratitude and trust in His ongoing help.

  • 9/20/2026 Psalm 27
Psalm 27 is David's description that Yahweh is light, salvation, and stronghold, so he need not fear surrounding enemies while he seeks to dwell in the Lord's house, gaze on His beauty, and wait for His deliverance. • 20 Daniel
The Antichrist Stage is ended with the end of the Great Tribulation. The Tribulation wars finally cause the Jewish leaders in Israel to recognize that Jesus is their Messiah. This event is referred to as the Regeneration of Israel. ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED Romans 11:25-26 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob (KJV): Their Salvation Will Come After The Great Tribulation

  • Drawing Near, Not Drawing Back
Under the better covenant of grace, we are able to draw near to the Lord for communion and strength. However, if believers draw back from their Lord in denial of Him, the expectation should be one of sorrow and judgment. Nevertheless, God is faithful to preserve His elect.

  • The Law-Keeper
The Israelites stand at the base of Mt. Sinai as God continues to arrest their attention with shocking sights and sounds. There is thunder and lighting. There is fire and smoke. There are many sounds of loud trumpet blasts. The mountain is quaking...and the people are quaking too. In that intimidating and impressive environment, God articulates His righteous ten commandments. These commandments outline what relating rightly to Him and others looks like. With great fear and trembling, the people receive the commandments and begin reckoning with God's standards and their accountability for them. This passage provides another brilliant foreshadowing of the Gospel as it begins to outline the Law through which God's people will be both governed--according to the enforcement of it--and exposed as in need of deliverance--since they will all be in violation of it, in one way or another. They need a substitute, one who can keep the Law, not just the letter of it, but the spirit of it. They also need one who can absorb their penalty for failing to keep it. They need an "Exodus," a "Way Out," and that way out is Jesus. As Galatians 4:4-5 says, "When the fulness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law." Jesus is the fulfiller of the Law and the one who sets us free from its demand and curse. He is the one we can trust as we endeavor to love God and others and yet fall short over and over again. He is the Commandment Keeper.

  • The Great and Notable Day of the Lord | #3
This sermon explores the culmination of the Day of the Lord in the book of Joel, contrasting the temporary cycles of repentance and restoration in Israel's history with the permanent salvation inaugurated by the Holy Spirit. The message identifies the outpouring of the Spirit at Pentecost as the fulfillment of Joel's prophecy, marking the arrival of the last days and the end of spiritual stagnation for believers. It emphasizes that the Spirit connects believers to God, producing lasting fruit and assurance of belonging, while simultaneously warning of the final judgment awaiting those outside of Christ. The text presents the Valley of Jehoshaphat as a place of divine verdict where God vindicates His people and judges the wicked, urging listeners to rely solely on calling upon the name of the Lord for deliverance.
