The first day of a new year and we are looking forward to challenging times. Does Christmas make enough of a difference?

The angel told Joseph that Jesus would "save His people from their sins".  But, just exactly how would this innocent, sinless and perfect baby, grow up to accomplish such a feat?

Ever get a little tired of all the Christmas fuss? Is it that really that big a deal? The prophet Isaiah will refresh our appetite for all things Christmas, tonight!

Faith:  What is it?  How does it happen?  Zechariah asks "How shall I know?".  Mary asks, "How will this be?".  Luke 1:37 says, "Nothing is impossible for God.".

Complaining vs Thankfulness.  It's easier to be happier when you're thankful.  How do we overflow with thankfulness?  We need to actively look for things to be thankful for.  If it's big enough to complain about, it's big enough to be thankful for.  Give thanks in everything.  1 Choronicles 16:34

God's beauty is different than man's idea of beauty. 

We appreciate a forewarning of painful events coming our way, so we can prepare.  The Last Supper has moved from the upper room to the Garden, and Jesus now forewarns His beloved disciples.  It's a warning that we need to hear, too.
