At age 19 Chicago based artist Double Dipp decided to try his hand at DJing and music production. He quickly fell in love with the craft and the newfound creative expression it offered. Five years later, through the introduction to Chicago’s underground music scene, Double Dipp underwent a musical renaissance introducing him to house, techno, drum and bass, garage, and various other genres of electronic music that became transformative to his sound and identity. With a focus on minimal house, but crates expanding across the musical spectrum, Double Dipp has been performing at and producing events at various bars, clubs, and after hours around Chicago.

Delocated presents Detroit based DJ/Producer, Xan Bishop.

Escaping through sound has always been a driving force for Xan Bishop. Stepping into production before learning how to DJ, a self-sufficient catalog has allowed him to capture dance floors from Colorado to Colombia. Instilled in him as as a Detroit native is a style that embodies energy. Inspired by the minimalism of techno and groove of house; a kinetic yet stripped back theme is overarching throughout many of his tracks. Signed to PITS Records, Bang La Dex Recordings and 5th Dimension, you might catch Bishop ranging anywhere from tripped-out brooding Techno & House; to cutting Electro and 2-step. Forward-thinking production and immersion in the music culture around him are what keep him striving to create.
