Welcome to DEM tech folks. In this episode, we are chatting with Mr Roger Campbell II who is the Founder and Owner of GemStack a Technology Consulting company out of Bowie, MD. Roger discusses with us his views of Juneteenth and we also speak on knowledge of black history and the importance of being informed. Roger wrote a very thought provoking speech in response to the murder of George Floyd which resulted in him going on to win the Telly Award. This piece of work is titled Voices from the June 6 Black Lives Matter protest in DC and is known for moving people to tears. We shared laughs and some deeply personal moments as we reflect on mothers and fathers lost and the influence they had on our growth. We hope you can find value in this discussion.
Happy Father’s Day to all of the great examples out there in the world and Happy Juneteenth to everyone working to elevate the black experience.
