Yet, there are some crimes that intrigue us for their simplicity and for the survivors' stories. The club scene in New York is legendary, as are the crimes that occur behind its velvet ropes. This week, Cyndi and Kelly take a closer look at two crazy club crimes, with the Murder of Andre "Angel" Melendez by infamous Party Monster Michael Alig and the Queen of the Harlem Ball scene, Dorian Corey and the Mummified remains in hidden in her closet for over 30 years.

The Wonderland murders, also known as the Four on the Floor Murders and the Laurel Canyon Murders, are four unsolved homicides that occurred in Los Angeles on July 1, 1981. It is believed that five-member gang was targeted to be killed but only three members along with one known associate and a wife of the gang’s leader were present at the Wonderland Avenue house the evening unknown assailants broke in and bludgeoned four of the occupants to death with hammers and pipes, leaving the fifth barely alive.

Crime has always been with us, and along with it, the fascination of how people could be capable of carrying them out. The wound they've inflected on the collective consciousness has healed enough to revisit them in a less emotional way.
