'Where did you go to get that smile?' So Davey croons on 'Jerry', but where did Davey go to find his music? Who did he tour with to learn the ropes? What is his routine in gathering the songs to make an album such as the delightful '1, 2, Kung fu!'? Well I ask him on this episode.

'Do you really wanna know about the lines on my face?' So the twice Ivor Norvello award winning Irish Singer songwriter Conor O'Brien sang a few years back, but now he lets us know a few more things such as the process in coming up with his beautiful latest album 'The Art of Pretending To Swim', where he started his musical journey, what he was listening to back in the day and what he thinks of having 128 million plays for just one song on Spotify. 'I don't need time passing/to tell me I'm scared'
Fix up and look sharp because SELF ESTEEM is here for a chat. With her Solo debut 'Compliments Please' now out, with hooks, beats and vocals Beyonce would pick pocket off her, the former Slow Club singer is now doing exactly what she wants and we all benefit because it's a belter.
She discuses her time with the Ex Band, what she wanted to do with her own album and what it took to be happy in the business.

'Why must we move along/We are not in a queue'
Settle down now to a chat I had with one time Welsh music prize winner and a singer/songwriter The Guardian described as someone who 'Evokes everyone from the Smiths to Jarvis Cocker'.
Meilyr Jones, ex Racehorses frontman released his exceptional debut solo '2013' a couple of years back to critical acclaim. You'd think he'd follow it up pretty quick then, but Meilyr has different ideas...

Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah it's Kliph. He used to be in one of the best bands ever, now he's with one of the best songwriters ever. Have a listen to me asking Kliph about how he got into the Lips, how did he end up in Wales and find out what he thinks of certain people to do with his former band.

Howareya!! I managed to get the ace and quite frankly legendary Gorky's Zygotic Mynci singer to talk about how the Gorkys started, wrote their unique songs and how Euros now goes about creating his albums and collaborations.
Euros and the Gorky's started in '91 and parted in 2006, they sang in Welsh and English, have a listen to the song on 'Later' below where they do that in one song. Some will try to tell you that the Gorky's were in the Britpop scene, they would be wrong and stupid.
If you've never heard them, go now and have a treat, you can't go wrong. My personally favourite LP was 'How I long to feel that summer in my heart'. Not a bad album to start with.
Since the Gorky's, Euros has produced an album a year mainly on his own label, National Elf records.
Find all his brilliant stuff at his website here www.euroschilds.co.uk. He's on Twitter@nationalelf
Gorkys on 'Later with Jools' here... https://youtu.be/2LBhZ75J8OM
And here's Euros being brilliant on his own... https://youtu.be/eWEhYSz_LHU

Chat/interviews/moider with some quality people. Comedian Jonny Williams has a panad (Tea) with his favourite musicians and artists. Not other comedians though, there's enough of…
The first ten episodes (Season 1) are dedicated to playing unsigned bands, five songs in every episode. Second season is interviews.
It's on iTunes and Spotify and follow on Twitter@thedemopod and @Jonnywilliams and let me and the guests know you've listened.
Anyway enough of that, enjoy the podcast.
By the way, the Theme music is by a brilliant musician named Jazzer and it's off his 'Paris, Lisbon' LP. Have a google.
The cover artwork was done by my (I'll drop the 3rd person charade) good friend Joy, who with her brilliant art has an amazing artwork/cards/enamel pins etc shop with just loads of good stuff, have a look here penciljoy.com
