Democrats have lots of reasons to feel desperation without adding anything new to their plate. They won elections in CA, VA, and NYC, and what appear to be wins are actually losses. Democrats live on the muscle-memory of a time when they controlled the entire government. But that government is being nuked. And the nukes that are coming are far worse.
