Democrats have released a new tax plan that would raise rates on corporations and the wealthiest Americans in order to offset some of the spending in their $3.5 trillion reconciliation package aimed at expanding the social safety net and addressing climate change. The plan will bring in an estimated $2.1 trillion over 10 years.
