In 1979 the film "Alien" set the gold standard for the genre of sci-fi horror, but what if the eponymous alien xenomorph was something more than merely a work of fiction? Their design and appearance were heavily inspired by the works of Swiss artist H.R. Giger, who claimed the idea for them came to him in dreams.
