Demons on SermonAudio

The sermon illustrates a case of spiritual torment in a new home to highlight the often-overlooked reality of territorial spirits. It recounts how a family, despite their faith, suffered from demonic activity that persisted until the deacons intervened, causing the spirits to flee. The central argument posits that the root cause was likely the land itself, possibly an Indian burial ground, which served as a stronghold for evil entities. This narrative serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of recognizing spiritual boundaries and the danger of ignoring the 'dirt' or historical context of a location. The tone is instructional and convicting, urging believers to understand that protection requires more than just prayer but also an awareness of the spiritual environment.

Satan seeks those whom he can devour. He frequently uses our feelings to oppress and attack us. How does he do that?

Jesus descends through betrayal, abandonment, a rigged trial, and contempt as every disciple protects himself and flees. Yet at the bottom of that valley his innocence, his silent fulfillment of Isaiah's suffering servant, and his claim to be the Son of Man shine through, previewing the glory God reveals in our own suffering and the certain end of evil.

Sermon Points: 1) False wisdom, false godliness 2) Earthly, sensual, and demonic thinking 3) Peace, gentleness, humility, and mercy manifest from proper teaching
