OPPRESSION VS. POSSESSION

Oppression and possession are two different things. A Christian can never be possessed but they can be oppressed. For someone to be possessed they must willingly give control to a demonic spirit. There’s always an entrance for a devil to come in and take possession over a person. No devil has the power (1 John 3:8) to move a pencil let alone hijack a person’s body, there must be an entrance of some sort. 

Demons dwell where access is given.

Three Main Categories That Cause Open Doors:

1. Inheritance

Demons pass down. They're inherited.

2. Intrusion

* Broken homes invite demons. Broken homes can harm vulnerable children.

• Abuse invites demons.

• Weakness invites demons.

3. Involvement

•Occult activity.

Avoiding Demons

Live clean. Eyes and ears clean.

Get God's help.

Consult a deliverance minister.

We have authority to In Jesus Christ to fight and conquer satan and his demons

•Any believer can cast out a demon through the power of Jesus. Ephesians 1:21-22

-Principalities and powers are not just relegated to individuals. These beings cover territories. Their presence is felt in cities.
