Everything we have is from our Father, and is supposed to be used for His glory and purpose.  How much do we really trust him with that?

 Jesus dedicated all of his life, all of his time, to the work of his Father.  Is that how we live?

God gives his people gifts of the Spirit in order to fulfill his purpose for his kingdom.  We are all uniquely gifted and equipped to build up God's church and engage in his mission.  Step into your gifts and bless those around you!

One of the greatest gifts that Jesus has given us is the opportunity to be a part of his family in the community of believers.  It is here that we find care, support, encouragement, correction, and mission together.  But we have to remember that the church isnt an institution or a building, it is people, and each of us need to be the church we want it to be!

If we want to act like Jesus, we need to live in total surrender to our Father, just like he did.  Jesus trusted his Father for ever moment, every breath, every action, and every word.  Can we live the same way?

 To follow Jesus we need to act like He did, and Jesus was absolutley single minded in his desire to follow and honour his Father.  Our lives need to be completely centered around God, putting in the other pieces that he desires, rather than trying to fit God into our busy lives and schedules.

If we want to follow God we have to know who he is and what he has told us about himself.  The first and most important place for us to dig into is His Word.  We have to read it, memorize it, let it work and live it if we want to experience everything that he he has for us and for our world!

As we step back into our year long series "Think, Act, Be Like Jesus", we move into our series on Action.  This week Pastor Dennis digs into what it means to Worship like Jesus would - what that looks like for us as individuals, and for us as a church together.  Worship isn't just about music and singing, it's a response to who God is in every moment of our lives!
