Dennis Has A Podcast

I first learned of J.W. Crump as the creator of the very funny Bonerz Coffee that my friends acted in, and over the last few months, no matter where in the comedy world I traveled, J.W.'s name was sure to come up. From Gas Staton Horrow to Sktch Shw to stand-up and so much more, I chat with J.W. about all of the wonderful projects he's involved in, moving to New York via DC from North Carolina, balancing the introvert/extrovert line and so much more! Check out more about J.W. at JWCrump.com, and be sure to check out GasStationHorror.com and SktchShw.com! We surprised Samantha Elkrief last month during the Dennis Has A Podcast third anniversary show and was so awesome we had to book her for the podcast. Samantha has transitioned from social work into being a holistic health and wellness coach, and answers Dennis' many questions to help alleviate his confusion and non-understanding. Since I have been spending so much time in Astoria, it was only a matter of time before I chatted with the Queen of Astoria, Ashley Dean! I chat with Ashley today about how Astoria became her borough of choice, her love of hip hop, our mutual love of sneakers, dating, and I try and convince her to come with me to a Mets game in the spring. To learn more about Queen of Astoria's March 14th St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl, March 29's Women's Brunch, or about QOA and Ashley in general, check out QueenOfAstoria.com and follow Ashley on Twitter at @radashlee! James Carr is a talented writer from Australia, who moved to New York almost 5 years ago, who I met at Astoria Coffee. While I am usually at Astoria Coffee to the side recording podcasts, James is with his laptop writing away. We chat about comedy and his work as a writer, while I also pepper him with a lot of questions about Australia. James has co-written a show, The Black Experience, which has been running for over 7 months, with its last performance this Wednesday, February 4th, at UCB Chelsea at 9:30pm. Come check it out!
