Dennis Has A Podcast

This good lookin' guy, flanked by two lovely ladies like it's a James Bond photo shoot, is one of DHAP Show's favorite guests. The very funny comedian, improviser Marc Adam Smith drops by the show to chat Daniel Bryan's WWE push as we head into WrestleMania 30, his history through the world of fantasy baseball, and a candid discussion of a talented improv man trying his hand in the stand-up world. Today is another one of those treats and perks I get from doing this show. I just spoke with dUg Pinnick from the supergroup KXM which also features George Lynch of Dokken and Lynch Mob, and Ray Luzier of Korn. Their self-titled debut, which you can get March 11 (at various places, including Amazon where the pre-order is the #1 Hard Rock album), is incredible. dUg's vocals combined with the trio's instrument work is great record. I do hope they are able to tour behind it soon! I chat with dUg about how this project came together (it involves cake!), all of the various projects he's a part of and how he keeps his enthusiasm going for everything, how he comes across talented new bands, and dUg shares that first record he fell in love with. You can follow KXM on Twitter @KXMofficial and like them on Facebook at Facebook.com/KXMofficial! And you can get the record March 11! There are few finer comedians in New York City than Carrie Gravenson and it was a treat to have her back on the podcast. We chat her travels through the comedy world, both solo and with Pink Collar Comedy. We also remember some awful job interviews, the challenges of navigating Los Angeles, New York City's endless winter, what it takes to get into the Oscars by hook or by crook, and much, much more! Our good friend AJ Fiore, who you can follow on Twitter @juice33nyc, joins me to talk the big Islanders and Rangers trade deadline deals and what that means for each organization. Our dynamic duo also talks the Knicks woes (and woes... and woes...) and what the Knicks should do going forward. Finally, Dennis and AJ share their optimism as their Mets and Yankees start their springs down in warm, sunny Florida. My good friend Steve Lewis joins me to look back on the incredible comedic career of Harold Ramis.

Any time someone offers you cookies, you say yes. Any time someone offers you freshly baked cookies, you say yes. Any time someone offers me freshly baked cookies and a podcast, I chant "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Renee Heitmann, of Single Girl Cookies, was super kind enough to invite me over to podcast and be a small part of a wonderful short video story of her incredible project and story. Richa, an NYU film student working on a video project featuring Renee, taped our pod as part of her project, while also becoming a small part of the podcast herself! Random and fun times!
