Dennis Has A Podcast

It is kind of crazy when I allow myself to think about it, but 100 episodes in 2013 (not including mini-episodes and guest appearances) is something I am incredibly proud of. I love that I got to share this moment with Omar Ortiz, CEO of Tranquil Water NY. I even joked with Omar, when I first heard of Tranquil Water NY, I thought we would be talking an energy drink, but what Omar brought was energy for an even larger and noble purpose. My conversation with Omar touches on his background and upbringing, and what brought him to create Tranquil Water, how he became involved with the Google+ Film Festival (December 13-29), and, of course, his red carpet event: IV: The Artist Wednesday, December 11th at Stage 48 in Hell's Kitchen! You can check our Omar Ortiz's Tranquil Water NY website at TWNewYork.com, like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter! Check out IV: The Artist at http://events.twnewyork.com/! You may Marina Shifrin from her dance moves, but after talking to her for an hour, I may have just found a new BFF. Marina and myself share tales from the world of comedy, life, love, work and so much more, before eventually sifting through the world of dating and romantic comedy (I see spin-off podcast potential). Check out Marina's website at MarinaVShiftrin.com, her blog at MARINAvsWriting.com, and follow her on Twitter at @MARINAvsTweets! Mike Brown is well traveled with plenty of stories to tell. In our near hour together, I feel like we only scraped the surface. How do I sell you on this episode? Mike does improv... by himself... on stage! He's Mormon and did a mission to Ireland. He worked for the Phillies. He's a flight attendant and is in London most weeks twice a week. Like I said, scratching the surface! Check Mike out over at SoloImprov.com and follow Mike on Twitter @SoloImprov! I spent the afternoon in Astoria! We had a wonderful brunch at Snowdonia, then talked on the podcast! In Part One, I chat with Renee Heitmann about her awesome project Single Girl Cookies. She bakes cookies every week, gives them to someone/somewhere new, and, well, I'll let her tell you the rest... Our friends Liz Wick and Dennis Lee round out our fun conversation! So, what did we learn about Meghan Hanley on the podcast? She's hilarious, she interned on SNL, she has a black belt in karate, that she doesn't play well with others and so, so much more. We talk about Meghan's trek through the comedy world, her experiences growing up, her sexual attraction to Peyton Manning's hairline, and so much more. #PeytonManningsRecedingHairLine You can like Meghan at Facebook.com/MegHanleyComedian, follow her on Twitter at @TheMeghanHanley, and be sure to check out the web series "Seeking Sublet" she's a part of that will be out in 2014! It's always awesome when a podcast feels like you're meeting a new friend for a first time, just chatting about life and love and a little bit of everything. Having Brad Barton on the podcast was an absolute pleasure. Of course we talk comedy and improv and making his way to New York City by way of Ithaca College, but we also chat all the wonderful (and some less wonderful) famous people he's had the chance to chat with over the years! Aside from his fun work with Fandango, Brad is also a part of Spitball Collective which can be found on Twitter (@SpitballCollect) and YouTube, and he himself can be found on Twitter (@BradBarton72) and YouTube! #OprahHighFive Follow Dennis @DHAP24, listen to and subscribe on iTunes (leave a comment and 5 stars!) and check out DennisHasAPodcast.com! #phenomenal

With the Jets, Knicks and Islanders in trouble, Dennis sent up the DHAP Signal to get AJ's thoughts on all the madness. From the Knicks all-around woes, to the Islanders slow start, to Geno's troubles, AJ has plenty to yell about. And, Dennis adds his two cents. Oh, and we heatedly exchange options on Hall and Oates!
