    2. Check dentist education and graduating schools
    3. Check accreditations ADA, CDA, BDA, JCI, ISO, insurance coverage and validate that the dentist is registered and in good standing with the local regulatory authorities
    4. Compare different dentists- multiple dentists, multiple quotes.  Never select the first dentist you find...compare at least 3X dentists against each other
    5. Ask dentist for their quality metrics: # procedures, error rate, infection rate, revision rate.  You want a high number of annual procedures and low single digit error percentages
