12 years on from the last confirmed sighting of Claudia Lawrence, we’re still no closer to uncovering what truly happened to her on that early Spring morning.
Join Georgia and Cherie as descend into the life and disappearance of Claudia Lawrence. Unravelling the police investigation and press coverage which ultimately changed the course of her case. Follow the girls as they take you from Claudia’s early life in a Malton, North Yorkshire to the present day police investigation.
The year was 2009 and Claudia was working as a chef at York University. She was a thriving 35 year old with a great group of friends and an active social life. However, on March 19th 2009 she failed to show up for work. The investigation that followed was one of the largest North Yorkshire Police have ever undertaken. Despite thousands of interviews, and multiple arrests, there is still no justice for Claudia and her loved ones remain in the dark regarding what happened to her.
We’re sending her family and friends so much love and positive energy on the 12th anniversary of Claudia’s disappearance. With this episode we hope to keep her memory alive and her name in the media. We would love if you could share this podcast with your friends to help achieve that goal.
