Lots going on in this one. Steve gets to make fun of the WLS reunion which included Kris Eric Stevens, who was a douche to Steve when he was a young CA broadcaster. Steven Wright is in studio and not very funny. The guys did some Cubs at Sox play by play.

This is a partial show from unnamed listener cassette. Steve was told traffic reporter, Louise Hill had a wacky outgoing message on it. Turns out, she changed it, and she recreates it on air. FYI: Joe the engineer, saw aliens in the control room at night.

Steve wants a lot of sex. Janet wants Steve to help more around the house. Greg Solk hits Jim deCastro with a golf ball. Larry Wert has a different take on things. The "phrase that lays" appears for the 1st time on the air in this classic AM1000 grab bag!

Our three-week odessey is almost complete, as Kevin Matthews, Jim Shorts and Steve and Garry finish up the marathon broadcast from the Ogden Slip. It's great to get paid to party (like a stripper). Steve has some issues with the porta-potty, but survives.

The Budweiser Beach Party rages on. It's a six-hour marathon broadcast with Kevin Matthews, Steve and Garry and a cast of thousands. Steve seems to be losing control, or possibly lost. He's also somehow surprised that he's being rejected by beauty queens.

This is the 1st installment of a three-hour extravaganza from North Pier in 1989, on WLUP AM1000. It's Steve, Garry, Kevin Matthews and a lot of alcohol-fueled listeners (we were alcohol-fueled too), trying to keep our shit together for six fucking hours!

We pick up where we left off last week, as Steve and Garry work their way through the Disco Demolition 10th Anniversary Show. There's lots going on, and Steve seems to be irritated with having to relive it. These days, he's at peace with it, but he's old.

A crazy day on the radio (WLUP AM1000). Steve is already sick of giving DD interviews. Little does he know, he will keep giving them for at least another 30 years. This is also before people started calling DD racist and homophobic. Ah, the good old days!

Steve talks about his home town La Cañada. Kevin Costner lives there! Kevin is building a new house. Steve wants to call Costner. Steve tries to call his dad, Roger about Dinah Shore. Roger is at work. Carol Dahl doesn’t know why Roger hates Dinah Shore.

Time off for the 4th of July wasn’t in their contract, but Steve negotiated. It comes out of their allotted vacation time. They still have four weeks. Cliff lost some gerbils at the ranch due to the hot weather, a few boys had to be resuscitated too!
