Joseph DeCasperis wears many hats. He is a designer, builder and NKBA's Southern California Chapter president.

In this episode I talked with Kenneth Stephens Jr, founding partner at Stephens, Reed and Armstrong PLLC. Kenneth is a very smart and experienced construction attorney and we talked about red flags when hiring a general contractor, touched briefly on the importance of contracts (we will have a whole episode dedicated to contracts coming up). He also shared a horror story as well!

He gave advice to new architects, we talked about his history and experience and about his family and that he is a 3rd generation construction family, all he learned and his experience he got even as a kid.
