Design Thinking is quickly becoming an overused buzzword that lacks meaning. In this mini-series, I'm going through and defining Design Thinking step-by-step and in detail.
In this first part of the series I dive deep into what it means to Empathize with users to truly understand their experiences, needs, and perspectives. This involves so much more than simply listening to or reading feedback from comments and surveys.
Additionally, I discuss a few common traps designers fall into during the "Empathize" phase and how you can avoid them!
