Christopher has a B.Com and an LLB (Hons.), both of which he has applied throughout his professional life. Christopher began his career in London in 1996, in investment banking with BZW, after winning the BZW Graduate scholarship from their NZ office. Whilst on holiday in South Africa in 2002 Christopher helped build a house for a family and realized that travel can make a positive impact, which inspired him to create the award-winning social enterprises Hands Up Holidays, Hands Up Incentives, Hands Up School Trips, and Impact Destinations, serving High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients. This instilled a passion for client excellence and delight and resulted in Christopher securing industry-beating retention and referral rates.

Running a sustainability-focused and social good business for the last 16 years has endowed Christopher with a commercial mindset and an appreciation for the importance of having a ‘triple bottom line’ focus. Christopher also acted as de facto legal counsel for these businesses, so kept his legal knowledge up to date, as well as legal skills of negotiation and client problem-solving.

His B.Com in Finance and his years in Investment Banking has instilled in him a head for numbers – he has done extensive financial modelling for company valuations, takeover target assessments, and preparing companies for venture capital/private equity funding, trade sales and IPO’s. After 16 years in London, Christopher moved back to New Zealand in 2016 to bring up his two children. Since 2023, he combines being CEO of Hands Up Holidays, Hands Up School Trips, Impact Destinations, and L'Arche Mt Tabor, a charity providing community living for people with intellectual disabilities.

She taught yoga for five years to a small group of yogis. Kenneth Miller, CFRE is the president and lead consultant for Denali FSP Fundraising & Grant Consultants, a fundraising and grant consulting firm located in Bellingham, WA. Raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Ken graduated from Bartlett HS in 1980, he then attended and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1984. Ken was awarded his Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2016 and received his AFP Certified Master Trainer (CMT) certificate in 2017. In 2020, he was awarded the Outstanding Professional in Philanthropy by the AFP Alaska Chapter. Ken is a past member of the of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Global (AFP) board of directors, the African American Development Officers (AADO) board of directors, and the Men of Color in Development (MOCID) advisory board. He is also a member of both the America Grant Writers’ Association and Grant Professionals Association.
