Foster care. Not belonging. No one to call Mom. Foster Dad shot Foster Mom. Alcoholic foster father whose wife out-earned him. Hid from father due to fear, fear that could be cut like a knife. No sense of identity. Need to be liked. College drinking that turned to 20 years of addiction. Cutting when his world was a ‘façade’. Inability to say ‘no’. Fear of dying alone. Homelessness. Burglary. Armed robbery. Kidnapping. Prostitution. Prison. Situational ethics.

In this episode, Angelina Carleton speaks with Dartsmouth graduate Ken Miller about forgiveness and living 21 years clean now. He share his story to “take away the power of the secret” so his honesty can set others free from their addiction of 'leaving this reality in all its different forms'. He speaks about how he knows how it feels to feel dirty, where there is not a shower long enough though he is free from shame today. Tune in to hear how love is not logical, the myths around healing and how Ken became ‘spiritually balanced’ in ‘being well’ for the design of his legacy.
