Nic Banks is the Founding Director of Atelier Pacific. Initially trained as an Engineer, he has over 30 years of experience working on a wide range of design projects. Prior to setting up Atelier Pacific, Nic worked in Milan with the renowned Italian architect Michele DeLucchi then from 1992 with Lord Norman Foster’s architectural and design practice in Hong Kong, where he led one of the design teams responsible for the passenger terminal building at Hong Kong's new airport. During his career, Nic has worked on a number of prestigious projects and has liaised with Clients as diverse as Cheung Kong, Deutsche Bank, Forever 21, the Hong Kong Airport Authority, Louis Vuitton, the Taiwan High-speed Rail Authority and Victoria’s Secret. Under the name of his own practice, Atelier Pacific, Nic has undertaken a number of fit–out and new–build projects for both commercial and private clients, as well as contributed to many important design, architectural, and master-planning public-realm projects in Asia. Nic is a full member of various professional organisations in London and Hong Kong; has taught and presented papers at numerous educational establishments and conferences; and had his work widely published and exhibited.

Anthony currently works as a Design Leader, Vice President for the LEGO Group. He is currently focused on experience design and leads the LEGO Group’s building experience teams.

Anthony has been working in the design industry since leaving Central St Martins in 1989 and worked as a product designer for a decade before moving into design management and leadership.

He has managed and led design in highly commercial environments with Nortel, Nokia, Microsoft & currently the LEGO Group, and across the full spectrum of skills and expertise from product, graphics and digital through to end to end consumer experiences.

Anthony is extremely passionate about design leadership and the diverse skills needed to succeed and deliver the best consumer experiences possible.

Kenan Zekic is a design educator and multidisciplinary designer interested in social impact design. Until July 2021, he worked as a Full Professor at the International University of Sarajevo. Currently, he is starting a nonprofit organization INDI+E (Innovation, Design + Education), and works as an independent design consultant and creative director in a publishing house "Vrijeme". He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Sarajevo, received his master's degree in the UK, and was a Fulbright scholar in the US. His academic and professional focus has been on design and technology relationships and practices in underdeveloped regions. As a book lover and designer, he has dedicated creative efforts to improving book readers' experience. From 2017-2020, he was a local leader of the IxDA Interaction Design Association Chapter in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2019 he was a Cumulus + awardee. His works and projects have been presented and exhibited in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Turkey, Serbia, South Korea, Iran, and the USA. He was a designer of the first Bosnian and Herzegovina national currency coins after the war 1992-1995, which is still in use.

Keith Kitz is an artist, designer, and educator living in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the Program Director, Master of Arts in Graphic Design (MAGD), and an Assistant Professor, Graphic Design at Suffolk University. Kitz is also the founder of Keith Kitz Design, a private practice that services clients both nationally and internationally. His award-winning work has been chronicled in periodicals, books, exhibitions throughout the United States, and internationally.

Lia Vilahur Chiaraviglio is currently the Director of International at ERAM College, Girona, and a Graphic Designer. During her professional career she worked as: interior architect, industrial- graphic designer, and managing multidisciplinary teams. She co-founded and managed together with Eric Olivares the design studio, Inlightdesign SCP.

As an artist, she works mainly with collage and acrylics and sometimes with watercolour and woodprints. She participates in international congress and teaches workshops for different design faculties in Latin America, Asia and Europe. From 2004 to 2014 she worked as a teacher at the IED (European Institute of Barcelona) being the professor of the following subjects: Design Foundation, Colour and Trends, Material and innovation, Lighting, Presentation Techniques and Project Communication, at both bachelor and master levels. In the academic field she also worked as external coordinator, for the degree in Interior design at IED Barcelona, and as Program Leader for the Degree of Graphic Communication of the Northampton in ERAMCollege.

She worked for Materio FAD, on the research and divulgation of materials innovation. She is co-author of the book “Drawing for graphic designers”. Her education background is at Art History (UAB, Barcelona) with a one-year exchange student (University of Bologna). A BA Interior Design from IED Milan, with a cumulus exchange at Lahti Polytechnic Finland. And the “Renewable energies, Sustainability studies” from MasterD.

Andrew Brewerton recently retired as Principal & Chief Executive of Plymouth College of Art and was founding Chair of Governors of Plymouth School of Creative Arts. He has served on numerous national bodies including the National Council of Arts Council England, the Creative Industry Federation’s UK Advisory Council, and was Vice-Chair of the Prime Minister’s Initiative (PMI2) for International Education. He is currently Chair of Trustees of Plymouth Arts Cinema and an Advisor to the Cultural Learning Alliance. He has lectured and published widely internationally and was Distinguished Professor of Shanghai Academy of Fine Art and an Advisory Board member of the Shanghai International Art City (SIAC) project. A book-length monograph on his contribution to Art & Design education in China, was published in Shanghai in 2011.

A former Principal of Dartington College of Arts, and Dean of Art & Design at the University of Wolverhampton, his work since 1994 in acadæmia followed a decade in glass design and manufacturing, latterly as head of design and development at Dartington Crystal (UK). An English graduate of the University of Cambridge, Andrew is a poet and writer on contemporary glass and on contemporary art in China.

Gizem Aytaç graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Interior Architecture & Environmental Design, she attended Design Culture & Management Program at Istanbul Bilgi University. She is experienced in a variety of areas such as; interior design, design management, concept development and branding. She worked as an interior architect & design manager for 23 years. She started a design collective called ProjeTasarlaTR in 2002 with four designer friends and organised amateur design exhibitions in Istanbul. She worked as project manager of Istanbul Design Week in 2005-2007 for DDF. She created GOM in 2015. GOM is a design brand active on educational technologies for children’s creative toys and games. GOM supports Sustainable Development Goals. It is a patented paper toy and a teaching method which  awarded for Superior Design 2017 by Design Turkey, rewarded for Design Intelligence Award 2018 by China Academy of Art. She attended to Bridges Math & Art Conference in 2018 at the Technology Museum in Stockholm, was selected as a creative women entrepreneur for #shemeansbusiness award by Facebook & Vogue. In London. GOM got invited to Graz, Austria for World Wide Things Collection and exhibited for Unesco Design Cities Network. 

Still writes about design in various publications like Manifold Press. During 2020 GOM started designing online workshops & webinars about creativity & design education. Believes in creative resistance.
