In this episode, David and Jacob go dark on Deep Fakes. Deepfakes, or manipulated media that convincingly impersonate real people, have rapidly emerged as a potential threat to trust. They leverage advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to create realistic-looking images, videos, or audio, making it increasingly difficult to discern between genuine and fabricated content. As deepfakes become more prevalent, the risk of misinformation, identity theft, and manipulation of public opinion grows, leaving society to grapple with the consequences.
