Fans of niche wrestling references rejoice!

It's a mixed bag for news this week as while there is something brewing in the Killswitch Engage camp, there is sad news to report from Leeds-based melodic hardcore quartet The Human Project as well as a health update from Megadeth's Dave Mustaine.

This is however some new music fro Jacob Bannon's side project Wear Your Wounds ahead of their new album Rust On the Gates of Heaven, as well as some album announcements from Alter Bridge and Chelsea Wolfe.

It's a strong week for the Desolation Sounds Podcast this week for reviews as Steven has been listening to the latest albums from London tropical punk group The Skints; the return from the absolutely not dad rock outfit The Wildhearts; and the absolutely blistering Employed to Serve.

Open Mic is just as strong as we take a look at Trivium's fourth album Shogun and question where any doubts of Trivium's credentials came from.
