Giving our time, talent and treasure is one of the primary ways we respond to God’s love. Throughout scripture we are called to imitate the generosity we see in The Father. Jesus is the ultimate example in the way He selflessly gave His own life, so that that we could have relationship with Him. God wants our WHOLE hearts and expects us to use what’s been entrusted to us for the benefit of His kingdom. If we’re not investing in His church and in other people, we’re missing a focus of what He calls us to as Christ followers.

Throughout scripture, Jesus challenges us to humbly serve others. When we enter every situation looking to serve others, it destroys the social strata and our selflessness allows God to shine in a selfish world.
