You just never know what might happen when you leave your home. Maybe you find a £20 note on the pavement. You think, “yes, how lucky am I!” But first you check to see if anyone around you may have dropped the note. You don’t see anyone, so that evening you treat yourself to a takeaway.
Or maybe while rushing to work, it’s raining, you have to come in early for a big meeting, but you woke up late and now you’re running to make the train and suddenly you fall headfirst in a muddy puddle, completely ruining your clothes and now you have a massive bump on your head.
See? You just never know. So, when 16-year-old Max Dixon and 15-year-old Mason Rist left Mason’s home to go get some pizza, they see an Audi Q2 drive pass, nothing to phone home about, right?
But it wasn’t until the car U-turns, drives towards them, then suddenly stops and four teenagers jump out the car, carrying machetes and starts running towards them is when the boys knew that enmity danger.
Max and Mason could have never known that their lives would tragically end right there on the pavement just after leaving Mason’s home.
This is the murders of Max Dixon and Mason Rist, mistaken identity, now on Despicable Beings.
