SAVE THE LOST
READ: Matthew 18:10-14Â
For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.Â
Matthew 18:11Â
Many churches are not conscious of lost souls. Neither are they conscious of missions to win souls. This is obvious because of what a pastor preaches to their members. Today, most churches are fed on the doctrines of success, the doctrine of happiness, the doctrine of a good life, the doctrine of wealth creation, the doctrine of the market place and the doctrine of prosperity.Â
These concepts can be found in the Bible and there are many scriptures that can be pulled in here and there to make everyone conscious of success, wealth and happiness! However, even though these ideas can be supported from the Bible, they are not the main doctrines of the church. These doctrines are side topics. These things are blessings that follow some people who serve God.
To build a double mega missionary church, you need to have a congregation that is conscious of soul winning. A church must prioritize what Jesus has prioritized! A church must love what Jesus loves! A church must have on its heart what Jesus had on His heart!Â
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; ...Â
1 Timothy 1:15Â
Do not be deceived by huge ministries that promote materialism and the grasping of riches. That is not the gospel! Most church members are not interested in soul winning. Their pastors are teaching them how to be rich, how to get things and how to be just like the world! If you could sense the presence of God, you would notice that many of these large and popular ministries do not have the presence of God even though they have a large crowd following them.

THE PRESENCE
READ: Acts 4:5-14Â
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, THAT THEY HAD BEEN WITH JESUS...Â
Acts 4:13Â
Watching Christian television or interacting with men of God will quickly lead you to the conclusion that “not all men of God have the presence of God with them”. Ministers who have the presence of God usually preach about salvation. Ministers who have the presence of God preach about Jesus Christ and not about economics, money, empowerment or the market place.Â
How can that be? Indeed all men of God quote scripture. All men of God claim to represent God. All the men of God seem to declare wonderful things about a great God. Yet many do not have the presence of God with them. With experience you will be able to detect this by a simple conversation with a man of God. Listening or watching a man of God for just a minute is enough to know whether the presence of God is present or not.
Those who stay in church for long hours have the presence of God. Those who company with God are those we really need to hear from. Those who have really experienced God are those who carry the true words of God. We don’t need human ideas. We need the reality of God.Â
We don’t need high-sounding phrases nor do we need motivational speeches for our lives. We need to hear from God. We need something from God’s presence.Â
Who are those who really have the presence of God? Who are those precious men of God that we really need to listen to? Those who preach about Jesus and salvation have the presence of God with them. Those who stay in fellowship for long times have the presence of God. It is time to be one of the men of God who has the presence of God around him.

ONE SMALL STEP
READ: Isaiah 28:9-14Â
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.Â
1 John 5:2-3Â
Do not say that it is impossible to walk by faith. God has made it possible for you to walk by faith by creating a walk that involves many little steps. Faith is not the obeying of one huge near-impossible jump. Faith is rather the obedience of one small step. Think of all the heroes of faith God used. Most of them took one small step. His commandments are quite possible for you to obey because they are always one small step at a time.Â
God will not tell you to build a church with five thousand members as your first commission. He will probably tell you to witness, win souls, start a fellowship and learn how to preach. As you obey these little steps, He will lead you to your destiny. To have faith is to obey one small step at a time. That small step is the act of faith that will change your life.
What did Rahab do to be called a hero of faith? Rahab, the harlot, gave her house to visitors. (Hebrews11:31). She provided the services of a harlot to Israeli spies. This was something she was used to doing. The only difference was to have had Israeli boys in her house for the night.Â
What did Moses do to become a man of faith? He threw a stick down and it turned to a snake. (Exodus 4:2-4). I am sure he had thrown many sticks down before that time.Â
Faith is always a small step! What is the next small step for you? God wants you to do something and it will never be a big thing. It will be series of small steps. The next small step will take you higher than you imagined.
